Of Mice and Men, 2003-05-18 This is a story set in the great depression, which is primarily about two men George Milton and Lennie Small. George is a hard working small intelligent guy; Lennie on the other hand is a big guy who is mentally immature and easily forgetful. They are on the run from a small town (weed) after an incident involving Lennie. They head for work at a ranch to earn enough money to pay for the only thing keeping them going a small dream to own a little farm with there own land and work for them selves and were Lennie can tend the rabbits.
Follows two men on an exciting, but sad adventure., 2001-01-01 I think that Of Mice and Men is a very good read. It is about two men called George and Lennie who are travelling in America trying to find jobs, so they can make enough money to live in their own place.George has to look after Lennie because he is mentally disabled. That is all the information about the story i can give you, so i reccomend you buy it to find out what happens! I think that all the characters that are in the story are very well thought out. The auther is also very descriptive about certain places in the book. The spoken language is all written how they would've talked, which is lots of shortenings of words, this can be a bit hard to read, but you get used to it pretty quickly. I think that the ending is good,(although it is very sad,) as it makes you want to know what happened afterwards. But of course you will never find out! I enjoyed reading this book and reccomend it.
