I also like the other reviewer have just finished taking the Beta Exam. I understand the effort to get a book out to address the subject but sometimes being first is not equated with being good. This book is poor as it is based on (as far as I can tell) Beta 1. Not good. Additionally, the "free stuff" and web site mentioned are a joke and non-exsistent.Please spend your money on the SQL Server Documentation Set and read the Intro, Admin Companion,etc. Will do you well. Written on beta 1, have a lot of differences with shipmenent version, a mistake or two per page. Nothing common between test question, their answers and exam sinopsis.
Misleading freebies, 1999-05-18
I agree with the reviewer from Colorado. I only bought the book because of the advertised CBT CD covering the course, interactive training website and test prep questions which were all eithher non-existent or not as advertised. I feel the author/publishers should be sued for providing misleading information just to sell the book. Also I have just done the exam and since it was obviously published before the exam was released it was not suitable to pass. Save your money and buy something else.

I bought this book a few days ago, I read about 3 chapters and I found more than 10 mistakes on this book already. I think this book must be rush to the market without carefully reviewed!
