The bizarre bunnies are back once again in Rayman Raving Rabbids TV Party with another collection of sanity-defying mini-games. This time they’ve taken over a TV station with the intention of turning the game's hero, Rayman, mad as he’s forced to watch them. The rabbids’ fashion sense is as peculiar as ever | Snowboarding on the back of a buffalo is just the start | The Balance Board is used for all kinds of bizarre mini-games | Rabbid game shows are just as weird as you’d expect | The real gimmick of the game is that many of the 50-odd mini-games use the Balance Board controller, which comes bundled with Wii Fit. Although you can play most of the games without the Board, the game makers are very proud to call this the only game you can play with your bottom. Games include sitting on the Balance Board to direct a buffalo down a mountain in a snowboarding style sim. There’s also a race game through asteroids on the back of an ironing board and a new version of the dancing games from the previous titles. Key Features - Cheeky control: Use the Balance Board from Wii Fit in the only game that allows you to control things with your botto.!
- Strangely entertaining: More than 50 different mini-games, from snowboarding on the back of a buffalo to bizarre dancing games and shooters.
- Looks better: Greatly improved graphics bring the rabbids to life as they invade Rayman’s television in an attempt to turn him crazy.
- Backwards compatible: Every game can be played with just the Wii remote and nunchuck, so you’re not missing out on anything if you don’t have the Balance Board.
- Party hearty: Best experienced with up to four other players at a time, all the games are designed with party play in mind.
About the developer: Ubisoft Paris Despite being France’s biggest games publisher, relatively few games are made at Ubisoft’s Paris studio nowadays. The major exceptions have been Wii launch title Red Steel, the two Rayman Raving Rabbids sequels, and some of the Imagine range of DS games aimed at girls.

Still love it, but not as much as Vice City And San Andreas, 2008-11-13 Read loads of mixed opinions from reviewers on here since it was released in April, but decided to wait till all the hype went away before I said what I think.
Right, first of all love all the GTA games so going to be a bit biased. Some random new things that I like about this is the way you can hear the radio from your vehicle when you are not in it, the echo sound of your vehicle when you drive under a bridge, seeing other get arrested for attacking you, the sat nav, taking a cab, the new vigilante cop sytem, advertising the city through television (loved this but would be brilliant with loads of hilarious adverts like vice city radio).
Things I don't like are darts (way too easy and no challenge), ten pin bowling (again too easy and no challenge). I just prefer the things to do in San Andreas like gambling, sky diving, mountain bike racing etc etc. Dating I don't like and only did it in San Andreas for the extra uniforms. I don't like the so called realness of this either for example the vehicles. A lot of reviewers have moaned about the vehicles being more difficult to handle, but I don't find them difficult just much less fun than than the previous gtas.
Another thing I don't like is that there seems to be loads of missions where you take on loads of gangs and take them on by yourself (which makes me laugh when people say this is more realistic than previous gtas) but these missions can sometimes take ages, thats what I find personally annoying about them.
Sorry if my review sounds really negative but its only because I love the gta games so much. I do still really like this game and still give it five stars but not as much as vice city and san andreas which I still occasionaly play and still never fail to enjoy. This is the first gta game of this generation like 3 was of the last generation but without the wow factor of that game, so the next one should be something special.
What I would love for a future gta game is to be set in vice city and san andreas again but with modern graphics with all the good things from this and back to the fun feel of old (vehicle handling and sillyness etc.) mixed with seasonal weather. I would love a seasonal weather and a day/date/month sytem, halloween, bonfire night, christmas etc, drunken santas like in bully. Animals and children would be great because they add to the realism. If this is a problem then why not make it so they can't get hurt, unrealistic but so what, another essential for me would be to ride horses, blow up buildings and watch them magically appear five minutes later, again unrealistic but thats what I loved about gta in the first place. I could go on and on about the things I would like in a future gta, but I am supposed to commenting on gta 4 (sorry). So overall still love gta 4, but found it less enjoyable than previous gtas.

High School Musical 3: Senior Year Dance! allows players to experience the energy, fun and music of all three "High School Musical" movies.
High School Fun!, 2008-11-14 I bought this game for some young HSM fans to play but decided to give it a try myself! There are 29 songs and different levels. (I was playing it for about an hour and a half and began to realise that my muscles were going to remind me about that tomorrow!)
I read somewhere about the controls being awkward. They're not - it's all about co-ordination and it does take a little while to get the hang of. There are a number of tutorials to teach you what to do and it's best to have a go at each one at least once (so you know what's coming in the game). I found that I never did very well in the tutorials - I started to get the hang of it when I played the game. Once you get going, it's really good fun (and quite easy to get a good grade in the Junior level).
I think that it's a good family game which teaches co-ordination and rhythm. HSM fans will love it!

Best Balance Board Compatible Game To Date!, 2008-11-25 Ever since Nintendo unveiled it's Balance Board peripheral which would ship Wii Fit starting with Japan in December 2007, there has been much talk about the big N'S new innovative controller & the opportunities it would present developers to create some seriously impressive titles utilizing it if put to good use.
So far to date we've seen some pretty good early indications that the Balance Board certainly holds potential with games such as the fairly decent We Ski, Jillian Micheal's Fitness Ultimatum & then there have been other games which use the board for party games such as Raving Rabbids TV Party.
To be fair though, I have been waiting for a title which has developed from the ground up using the balance board as a primary controller as opposed to the secondary controller which a few developers have done, which kind of leaves you feeling like they worked on the Balance Board controls during the last phase of the game.
Thankfully then I can proudly testify that Shaun White Snowboarding Road Trip falls firmly into the former category & has a really in dept Balance Board control scheme which feels very well thought out & extremely well implemented. Honestly the Balance Board controls gives you such a feeling of accomplishment after learning a new trick by using the correct technique (e.g: the correct direction to learn in conjunction with the control buttons to press to perform a "Monkey Twist" ect)
The games overall layout feels very slick & really well thought out. The basic premise of the game is that you are a newbie Snow Boarder joining a group of travelers on a snow boarding road trip (as the title suggests)
You start off playing with the first available character (who I believe was "Jasmine" although I can't really remember now as I'm 30% through the game!) in the first of four resorts gradually working your way through each one as you pass all of the various events available in each resort.
At first there is only one boarder available to you, but as you progress you'll unlock new ones who each have their own stats and special skill. It is here in which the key lies to successfully completing the game, as you play more & more through the game you will learn which boarder is best suited to which event.
Naturally some skill is involved in playing the game with the balance board, but thankfully the developers having designed the control so well that it all feels so natural. Lay the board sideways just like the real thing & then lean forward to speed up, back to slow down, side to side makes you turn left or right & coming up from a crouch makes you jump, whilst pressing the buttons in conjunction with leaning in various direction during air time perform fancy tricks & flips. Nothing could be simpler.
I've always been a massive fan of snowboarding & Ubisoft appear to have created a gem of a game with Shaun Whites Snowboarding, which given how perfectly the Balance Board controls works... guarantees it will stay in my collection as long as I still have my Wii (or at least until a sequel comes out! Lol)
The only thing I can fault this game on is the fact that you are force to play the game using Regular Foot (meaning standing on the board left foot forward) without the option to switch to Goofy Foot (right foot foward) which is the way I feel most comfortable with.
Still this is only a minor gripe as does not really take anything away from a pretty perfect game.
I would say this is the perfect Xmas game for any one with a Balance Board and into snowboarding games.

Guitar Hero is already one of the biggest games ever on home consoles, but can it really be made to work on a portable like the DS? A lot of effort has certainly gone into ensuring it does, with the Guitar Hero - On Tour coming bundled with a special “Guitar Grip” attachment of four plastic fret buttons. There might be only four fret buttons, but the game can be as hard as ever | Blow into the microphone to put out a fire during an axe battle | Guitar Duels work a lot better than the boss battles in Guitar Hero III | With the Guitar Grip in place, you hold the game horizontally and watch as the notes you have to play scroll down on the top screen. You then have to press the appropriate fret buttons and strum along on the touchscreen with the included plectrum shaped stylus. It’s a clever way to get around the fact that there’s no actual guitar controller, but watch how long you play, or you may get a case of hand cramp. You'll also want a set of headphones for maximum sound quality. No, Guitar Hero - On Tour isn't quite the same as jamming in your living room with a full guitar controller. But for the Guitar Hero-fan on the move though, this is as good as it gets. Key Features - Fingertip control: The Guitar Grip attachment and plectrum stylus recreate the full Guitar Hero experience a lot better than some might have expected.
- All the hits: Guitar Hero - On Tour includes 26 licensed tracks, almost all of which are master recordings, from bands including Smash Mouth, Santana, and ZZ Top.
- Familiar faces: Single-player career mode works just like on the home console games with familiar rock personas including Axel Steel and Judy Nails.
- Battle of the bands: An enhanced version of the battle mode from Guitar Hero III has you putting out flaming notes by blowing into the microphone or signing autographs as you play.
- Join a jam: Play with or against a friend in wireless mode as you jam together or take part in your own guitar duel.
About the Developer: Vicarious Visions Founded by two brothers while they were still in school, Vicarious Visions made its name with PC space-combat sim Terminus and went on to become one of the most prolific portable developers in the United States before being acquired by Activision in 2005.
portable guitar hero oh yes, 2008-07-18 this game is awesome dudes, i love it only thing i will say is don't say rock out in public hehehe
