DRM = Bad, 2008-11-18 I was looking forward to this Game. I am a massive C&C Fan and have bought every game and expansion pack (bar Sole Survivor) and play them regularly.
BUT I cannot buy this game. I like the look of the game and have invested in upgrading my PC to play it, but on release contains DRM which is reliant on an outside server to authenticate me to play.
I cant condone this. My old PC was 9 years old (with the odd upgrade) and I was happily playing C&C 1, RA and RA2 quite happily for years.
EA a couple of years down the line will no doubt stop authenticating the installs and I will have nothing but a coaster for my money.
DRM like this has to stop. EA should stick to console gaming. That's what these games are aimed at anyway. Leave PC gaming to a company who cases about the community and listens to their customers.

- In the last instalment of the Halo trilogy, the Covenant has taken control of Earth and released the Flood, a parasitic alien species
- The fate of the entire universe is in the balance as a secret buried for hundreds of centuries may hold the key to salvation
- or certain death!Once again, you'll take on the role of Master Chief, a cybernetically-enhanced human super-soldier, to solve the mystery and put an end to the threat facing the world once and for all!
PREPARE.......for something special, 2008-10-02 I found that there are two reasons why people dont like halo 3, first there ps3 fanboys who go on and write bad reviews about halo to dull it down. Two they suck online and are "t-bagged" or "n00bed DANCED" TOO MUCH. This game is amazing, story ok but online you just cant top halo 3. Why do people say "halo killer", well because to be the best, you must first go threw the best, and thats halo 3.

The Locust Horde is back and only you and your squad of elite soldiers stand between them and the death of every human being on the planet Sera. In Gears of War 2, entire cities are being destroyed in single attacks, and you must take the fight to the Locusts by battling them in their own underground lairs. You can play the whole of story mode with a friend | The Boomer enemies are back in many different varieties | The game’s ethos of “destroyed beauty” is still in full effect | Shoot the Ticker enemies before they explode in your face | The bestselling third-person shooter is back: bigger, better, and gorier than ever before. But you can't just blast your way through it--this game requires far more tactics and cunning than your usual mindless shooter. A refined cover system means you can use the enemy as “meat shields” as well as hide behind the fully destructible scenery. The graphics are looking better than ever, and the game is purposefully more bloody and violent than before. The story and characterisation has also been improved, making this an action game sequel with brains as well as brawn. Key Features - Brothers in arms: Have a friend join or leave your single player game whenever you want, and even battle together on different difficultly levels.
- Evolving enemies: You finally get a chance to take down the giant Brumak enemies, as well as even larger monsters and new creatures, such as the explosive Ticker.
- Practise makes perfect: Practice the multiplayer mode on your own with computer controlled “bots”--then use the new matchmaking system to find a real opponent of the same skill level.
- Chainsaw massacre: If you loved the chainsaw bayonet in the original game, you now can duel computer or human opponents with gaming’s messiest weapon attachment.
- Hordes of options: Try the new five-player Horde mode, where you all face off against an unending wave of enemies, or any of the seven other multiplayer modes.
About the Developer: Epic Games Based in North Carolina, Epic is well known for games such as Unreal Tournament and Gears of War. They also make the Unreal Engine graphics technology, which is used by many other companies in many different games.

Nintendo
The smaller, sleeker version of the original Nintendo DS, the Nintendo DS Lite combines dual screen action with Touch Screen interaction, providing the player with a unique gaming experience. The system also includes wireless communication technology, allowing gamers to join their friends in multiplayer games, or use the system's embedded PictoChat software to send messages and drawings to each other. The Nintendo DS Lite is revolutionising handheld gaming. With two super-sharp, backlit LCD screens, the Nintendo DS Lite offers a groundbreaking new approach to gaming. Each 3-inch screen is capable of producing true 3D graphics; the DS has the power to produce even more advanced visuals than the Nintendo 64 could display. Plus you can adjust the screens' brightness in four different levels to adapt to different lighting conditions. The possibilities are limitless - one screen can be used to show the main action, while another might be used as a map, inventory, or secondary viewpoint - or both screens can be used simultaneously to depict huge boss characters! With a powerful rechargeable lithium ion battery pack and recharger included with every Nintendo DS Lite, the system offers up to 19 hours of play on a single recharge*; so there's no need for additional battery packs. Nintendo DS Lite recharges to full capacity in three hours - one hour less than Nintendo DS. The system also includes a clock, calendar and alarm functions, and you can select other details like the colour of the background screen, your birthday and your nickname. *Nintendo DS Lite battery life is dependent on brightness setting used.
GREAT VALUE, 2008-08-05 I, like so many other people, bought this mainly for the brain training game. The console itself is very easy to use, has a good battery life, and most important of all, it is portable so you can play it anywhere. The selection of games for the DS is impressive, with some top quality titles on offer, from puzzle games to RPG's and everthing else in between. The great thing is that Nintendo has aimed the DS at all ages, which is why it has been a huge success for nintendo.
It may not have the the more powerful graphics of Sony's PSP, but it does have amazing playability, and alot of original games that you find on any console. So, if you've been looking at different consoles, give the DS a go and I don't think you'll be disapointed, especialy when there are so many original titles on offer.

Now everyone can experience the fun and excitement of a Lightsaber fight.
Waste of money, 2008-11-15 What a pile of tosh this game is. It doesnt respond to movements of the wii controller in anywhere near the expected fashion, making the only way to get anywhere wild swinging and slashing of the controller. No Skill involved in that what so ever.
Even on the easiest level blocking an opponents moves is nearly impossible. I wouldn't have given this game a single star if I had the option. STEER WELL CLEAR!

Nintendo
Amazon.co.uk Review In a nutshell: It may have taken the world by storm with its huge range of genuinely innovative new games but there's no denying that the Nintendo DS is not exactly the most portable of portable consoles. That's all changed now with this sleek and sexy update. The lowdown: When the Nintendo DS was first announced it was dismissed by many as a white elephant - with a gimmicky interface and underpowered graphics. Over 15 million sales later and the story is a little different. The DS Lite is fully compatible with all existing Nintendo DS (and Game Boy Advance) games but it's smaller, sleeker and lighter - with a new design that perfectly matches the Nintendo Wii console. The most impressive feature is the new backlit screens which offer the sharpest image ever seen on a portable console. The DS Lite is available in three separate colours: White, Black and Pink. Most exciting feature: The DS Lite now has four brightness settings - the highest is brighter than even the PSP and is clearly visible in any lighting condition. That sound? That'll be Sony executives running to the hills - wearing sunglasses. Since you ask: The Nintendo DS is the fast selling console ever in Japan. When the DS Lite was released, it sold out instantly, with queues of over 1,000 people a common sight. The bottom line: The DS gets a face lift to become Nintendo's best looking portable ever. - Harrison Dent
Reviews Nintendo DS Lite offers all of the unique features of the Nintendo DS but also includes a variety of distinctive changes which truly sets it apart from other handheld consoles. Nintendo DS Lite retains the advanced touch screen technology, allowing players to control software with a stylus or even their finger, as well as dual screens, voice recognitionand Wi-Fi capabilities of the Nintendo DS but is now both smaller and lighter. The Nintendo DS Lite will become the new edition to Nintendo's video game family when it launches on 23rd June 2006. Nintendo DS Lite is a lighter and brighter version of the highly successful Nintendo DS. Dual Screens open up new possibilities - use the touch screen as an inventory reference for role-playing games, to view maps for your favourite strategy game, or see racing action from two perspectives at once Navigate menus or access inventory items simply by touching the screen with stylus or fingertip Tough film over touchscreen protects it Advanced 3D graphics engine and 16-channel audio, for graphics and Sound that are superior to other portable game systems All-new PictoChat feature allows DS users to write messages with an on-screen Keyboard or the stylus and send them wirelessly Built-in Microphone port for voice control of games, or for voice chat with other DS players Less than two-thirds the size of the original Nintendo DS More than 20 percent lighter than original DS 4 adjustable brightness levels to extend battery life Repositioned microphone and LED lights Stylus has been redesigned--now 1cm longer and 1mm thicker Repositioned start and select buttons Available in 4 cool colours
Its Brilliant!!!!, 2008-03-15 If you are considring of buying an Nintendo DS because of all these games that brain games and family freindly games then this is a good starter as you get a ds and an copy of brain training for a good price and you can slowly buy more and more games for it! I would highly reckomend this and deffently consider on buying it if youre into buying an Nintendo DS!!!!

The Star Wars saga will continue in Star Wars: The Force Unleashed, a videogame developed by LucasArts, which casts players as Darth Vader's "Secret Apprentice" and promises to unveil new revelations about the Star Wars galaxy. The expansive story, created under direction from George Lucas, is set during the largely unexplored era between Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith and Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope. In it, players will assist the iconic villain in his quest to rid the universe of Jedi - and face decisions that could change the course of their destiny.
 Join the Dark Side |
You are Darth Vader's Secret Apprentice View larger. | Use the Force to disable your enemies View larger. | Artwork of the Jedi "Maris" View larger. | As its name implies, The Force Unleashed completely re-imagines the scope and scale of the Force. The Wii version will not only give you a solid story-line developed by LucasArts involving the Darth Vader's secret apprentice, but you'll experience a new style of gameplay only the Wii can offer. With the Wiimote and Nunchuk you'll be able to battle your way through your enemies utilizing your Lightsaber attacks and Force powers. Not only can you experience this new control system in story mode, but you can also try your Jedi skills against a friend in the Wii, "Battle Mode." Joining the Dark Side doesn't seem like such a bad idea after all.
Game Features:- During the period between Episodes III and IV, players hunt Jedi in the role of Darth Vader's Secret Apprentice.
- Unleash and upgrade the Secret Apprentice's four core Force powers - Force push, grip, repulse and lightning - throughout the course of the game, and combine them for ultra-destructive, never-before-seen combos.
- Examples of unleashing the Force in ways never thought possible:
- The Secret Apprentice won't just Force push enemies into walls - he'll Force push enemies through walls.
- The Secret Apprentice won't just Force grip foes to throw them aside - he'll Force grip them in midair, zap them with lightning, then drop them to the ground to explode like a bomb.
- In addition to new adversaries created just for the game, such as fugitive Jedi and Force-sensitive Felucians, players will also confront and associate with familiar faces from the Star Wars films, including Darth Vader.
- Visit locations such as Episode III's Wookiee home world Kashyyyk and the floral Felucia, the junk planet Raxus Prime, plus an Imperial TIE fighter construction facility.
- The Wii system's "Battle Mode," a one on one fighting arena simliar to the classic game, Star Wars: Masters of Teräs Käsi.
- Use the Wiimote to slash and pierce your enemies with your Jedi Lightsaber while you use the Wii Nunchuk to disable other opponents with your Force Powers.
- LucasArts is preparing an unprecedented promotional effort around the launch of The Force Unleashed, encompassing a full line of toys and game-based action figures from Hasbro, as well as a full publishing program from Dark Horse, Del Rey and Palace Press.
Meet the Cast The Star Wars Saga will continue in 2008 with LucasArts' biggest-ever video game event. Set during the "dark times" between Episodes III and IV, Star Wars: The Force Unleashed portrays the previously untold story of Darth Vader's Secret Apprentice -- and now you can put a face to that mysterious character as well as the major supporting cast members as LucasArts unveils the actors set to star in The Force Unleashed. The Technology of The Force Unleashed With The Force Unleashed, LucasArts not only introduces a new chapter in the Star Wars saga, but also pushes the Wii's game engine to deliver amazing detail and realism only found in a Star Wars title. You will experience gameplay and the Force like you never had before.
Buy it second hand, 2008-10-07 There'll be loads of copies of this floating around second hand because it's the easiest game ever to complete so just buy it for £10 ($20) as it's not worth the rrp.
The game itself is actually not that bad, yes it's repetitive and annoying in places, yes, the camera is an absolute pain at times but in truth it's actually very playable but way too easy and very, very short. All in all I feel like Lucas has yet again left me disappointed and ripped off but I guess I'm getting used to the feeling.

LEGO Indiana Jones: The Original Adventures takes the fun and creative construction of LEGO and combines it with the wits, daring and non-stop action from the original cinematic adventures that enthralled audiences everywhere (Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark, Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom and Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade). With a unique tongue-in-cheek take on the original adventures, LEGO Indiana Jones follows Dr. Jones escapades through the jungles of South America to the mountaintops of India. Fans can build, battle and brawl their way through their favorite cinematic moments, from Indy's entanglements with snakes to his dashing boulder run. Of course, pop culture's most iconic archeologist will whip through all the classic moments with the help of a host of supporting characters including Marion Ravenwood and Short Round. Players can also mix and match the body parts of more than 60 playable characters to create new heroes just as they could in the best-selling LEGO Star Wars games.
Lego Indiana Jones, 2008-06-28 My mum got this game and I had a bit of a play on it. I have to say I will be getting myself a copy very soon. It's addicitve, entertaining and for a DS game has good graphics. The music is nice to listen to as well. A well deserved five stars.
