- Draw on the mat using just pen filled with water
- Includes Thomas train that magically follows lines drawn on special mat!
- Thomas plays his theme tune as he moves along
- Hours of no mess fun
- Images fade to draw over and over again
Thomas is Always a Winner, 2005-11-26 Getting crayons and felt tip pen off furniture and walls is an absolute nightmare, but one you do not need to worry about with this toy. The pen and the roller that creates the tracks will in effect only draw on the play mat.A second bonus is that everything can be folded up and put away very quickly. That's the grown ups sorted, so lets get on to the children. I do not know of any child who at some stage in their lives is not in love with Thomas the Tank Engine and this is an ideal toy for them. The roller provided draws train track on the play mat and to young children (and adults) this must seem almost magical. What is even better is that Thomas follows the tracks that have been drawn, even more magical. If it loses its way the train tries to find the tracks again and if it can't eventually switches itself off. How good is that? There is also a 'pen' that is filled with water and allows freehand drawing on the mat and only on the mat. The train makes the noise a real train makes and plays a little of the Thomas tune. Best of all the track eventually fades giving the children the opportunity to draw another track layout. No small pieces to get lost, no paper to pick up and throw away. No pencils to sharpen, or new felt tips to buy and most importantly Happy Children. What more could you want!!

- The numbers strategy game that's never the same
- Compulsive game play
- For 2 to 4 players
- Manufacturer's recommended age 8 years to Adult
Brilliantly simple, simply brilliant, 2005-10-04 My daughter started playing this when she was 6 and a year later she is now learning the finer points of the game. She enjoys it just as much as her grandfather does. A great, non-gimmicky game.

Doodle Daisy is the scribbly scrawly creepy crawly! "Hi, I'm Doodle Daisy! I'm a fun creepy crawly that loves to draw! Watch me spin and spiral as I create amazing doodles. You can decorate the patterns with my stencil hat and stamping boots and colour them in using the pens included. I can hold up to five pens at once, so mix 'n' match the colours to create loads of different designs!"
brilliant!, 2008-03-28 Bought this for my girls even though they are 7 and 9, they absolutely love it! Its easy to set up, uses 2 AAA batteries, turn the dial underneath for the design, slot the pen in one of the holders, press her back and off she spins! if your child is a fan of spirograph etc then thy'll like this. makes loads of different patterns.

Mouse Trap is a fun-filled game of crazy mechanical gadgets and chain reactions! Race to the finish and nab your opponent's mouse before your own gets caught! Players take it in turns to roll the die and move their mouse the number of spaces. If a player lands on a 'build' space they must build part of the mouse trap, and take a piece of cheese! Once the mouse trap is built, a player landing on a 'turn crank' space can start the mouse trap! The trap begins with a crank which turns a set of gears, this then begins a series of stages which ends in a cage being lowered over the 'cheese wheel' space capturing mice in the spaces below it! The mouse caught in the Mouse Trap is then out of the game! The last surviving mouse us the champion! A great game for all the family! Suitable for 2 to 4 players.
a new incarnation..., 2008-03-25 Initially I was very impressed with the new version; the three different traps get set off throughout the game which makes it more interesting, and it seemed pretty sturdy and a big improvement on the old version. But one piece arrived with a broken hinge which was irritating; also like another reviewer the loop the loop section didn't work, the ball just didn't have enough momentum. Unless I'm doing something seriously wrong this is a pretty major design flaw. As there is no help or support number to call this one is going straight back to the shop; shame, if it worked properly it would be a great game.

Great product, the writing stays on pages until washed. It probably smudged if the pages were not dry as other customer commented on. Daughter has just turned 6yrs and loves trying to write her own stories and slots in her own pictures. Thumbs up.

There's an understated elegance to Rush Hour, one of the most inspired and intriguing sliding block puzzles we've so far encountered here in the lab at gadgetshop HQ. It's designed to challenge players of all ages, teaching logical progression, problem solving and sequential-thinking skills. And that's just to open the box. This multi award-winning puzzle - and its inventor Nob Yoshigahara - have picked-up no fewer than 21 gongs in the past decade; a surefire testament to its longevity, durability and worldwide appeal. The objective sounds easy in theory. Drive your red car out of the playing grid and escape to freedom. But in order to so, you'll first need to set up the traffic on a game grid to match one of 40 playing cards, then shift all the blocking cars and trucks out of your way. This is more easily said than done, as a clear and transparent set of rules then come into play. To proceed, one simply needs to move one vehicle at a time, in a long sequence of moves designed to free the red car from the logjam and out of the parking lot. All of which will have one scratching one's noggin- and driving one to the web for a solution. Brilliantly infuriating - and infuriatingly brilliant.
Fun, makes you think and ideal to travel with, 2007-10-23 Like many of the reviewers here I bought this game for a kid's birthday, in this case my 9 year old niece. On the day I spent more time playing it than she did (which she wasn't entirely happy about!).
The game itself consists of a plastic gameboard, the size of a desk calculator, in which there is a drawer holding the puzzle cards. The board and game pieces (around 20 pieces) come in a handy carry bag. You'll need the carry bag to keep everything together neatly, but you don't need to tip the whole contents out to find the pieces you need, since there are not many of them and they are not tiny.
As a side note, since the pieces are not tiny and are brightly coloured you can easily find them if they fall on the ground.
As the playing the game, well it really makes you think and is also very fun. You get a smug feeling of superiority when you finally manage to figure the puzzle out.
The puzzle difficulty ranges from very easy indeed to ferociously difficult. The hardest puzzles had me stumped and I am supposed to be pretty clever! But don't worry, the puzzle cards also have the answers (on the back) so you can figure it out like that if you need to!
Although there are 'only' 60 cards or so, they are easily replayable as you are not going to remember the pemutations of every one.
I recommend this game, fun for all ages, intelligent and easily portable.
I'm already looking forward to visting my brother again so I can have another go...
