Generally an excellent toy, typical of the high standards one expects of Brio. Nicely detailed, if lacking the authentic tracks !

The only complaint I have is that this toy is not compatible (in terms of size) with a number of other Brio items - it will not go under a bridge with the scoop up, and with the scoop forward it overhangs so far that if a corner is placed before the tunnel, once again the scoop fouls the tunnel. Fine for a track without tunnels or bridges though !

The BRIO Bob toys are a brilliant addition to any Bob-loving child's train set. My own toddler can spend hours engrossed with his favorite characters, inventing his own adventures. Lofty and Wendy look exactly like their TV versions (Lofty's big grin is especially nice!) and the crane mechanism is study and fun. More expensive than some other Bob toys but very much worth it.
