I bought these building blocks for my one year old son Louie, he loves them he has great fun knocking down the towers we build for him and is now starting to copy and build his own.
Louie loves banging them together and plays with them for ages.
The bricks are stunning too in such lovely classy looking colours.
I work in a nursery and just ordered another 5 boxes - the children are going to love them!
Just ordered the Brio magnetic blocks too, they look great and Amazon is by far the cheapest place I found.
You wont be disappointed.

brio has done well in bringing to life the popular, bob the builder, childrens programme
although a little expensive the play value is worth it! however dont forget ... the whole crew is going to be quite expensive in the end! It is compatable with other brand of track not only brio .I WAS ALITTLE DISSAPOINTED AT THE MATERIALS USED DONT THINK IT WILL LAST AS LONG AS THE TRAINS MADE BY BRIO DUE TO THE SMALL PLASTIC PARTS PILCHARD WILL DEFINATLY OUT LIVE DIZZY!!!!

Good quality every time, 2009-11-07
I knew that the Brio name was a good one and I wasn't disappointed with these bricks. I didn't buy them for a toy but for a teaching aid at Sunday School. The bricks are well made - no splits or knots in the wood - and well finished - slightly rounded corners and no splinters or rough patches anywhere. They are perfect for little fingers as there is no worry about them being hurt by the wood. Many sceptics about buying wooden bricks for this group but I have been completely vindicated.
