great addition to a train set, 2006-12-11 We love this - it makes a noise when the train goes past; a different noise depending on which animal is standing in the yard at the time. Very simple for children to operate - my son and daughter both love this!

Brio
- BRIO Wooden Railway
- Realistic lifting bridge to allow boats to sail below.
- Good birthday/Xmas present
- Enhances wooden railway play value
- Made from top quality, sustainable beechwood
Mind the gap..., 2002-09-23 A nice addition to the Brio set we'd just bought for our daughter (nearly three). She likes to wind the handle to make the bridge go up and down and likes the little gates at either side too. A nice touch is that the handle's been designed to be held and turned by small hands. The one caveat is that you need a special piece of track from Brio to allow track to go under the bridge rather than just over it. It's difficult to find and without it, the bridge doesn't have as much appeal.

Brio
- Timeless classic construction toy for toddlers
- Hard wearing glossy finish
- Vibrant primary colours
- 9 piece toy to develop hand/eye coordination
- Attractive to the touch and the eye
Fantastic, 2008-10-26 My daughter got this for her first birthday and immediately started stacking the clown. Lovely chunky pieces and easy to put on for her. I'm surprised to read it's for 36 months plus - maybe to stack it in the right order, which my little girl can't do yet ( and looking at the picture, I've done it wrong, too!)

- BRIO Wooden Railway
- Produced from splintering resistant beechwood
- Includes 2 rising barriers
- Includes 2x warning signs
- One section of extra track included
basic, 2008-03-07 Personally I thought this a bit basic for the price - however my son chose it over the other one (magnetic) and is happy with it . I do think it could get broken easily though - the plastic 'gates' could get chewed or bent.

Brio
- BRIO Classic
- Made from uncoated beechwood
- 50 blocks in multiple shapes
- Open ended construction play
- Develops fine motor skills and hand/eye coordination
Good quality every time, 2009-11-07 I knew that the Brio name was a good one and I wasn't disappointed with these bricks. I didn't buy them for a toy but for a teaching aid at Sunday School. The bricks are well made - no splits or knots in the wood - and well finished - slightly rounded corners and no splinters or rough patches anywhere. They are perfect for little fingers as there is no worry about them being hurt by the wood. Many sceptics about buying wooden bricks for this group but I have been completely vindicated.
