A nice addition to the Brio set we'd just bought for our daughter (nearly three). She likes to wind the handle to make the bridge go up and down and likes the little gates at either side too. A nice touch is that the handle's been designed to be held and turned by small hands.The one caveat is that you need a special piece of track from Brio to allow track to go under the bridge rather than just over it. It's difficult to find and without it, the bridge doesn't have as much appeal.

Does what it says on the box. Four curves to add to your Brio system - unfortunately that's not many when you probably want to expand a starter set. You'll find you need to buy a few boxes of these basics which will work out costly.Perhaps better to supplement your Brio starter set with cheaper track from one of the many alternative manufacturers (but a word of warning - stick with Brio for anything 'non-track', like buildings).

Good fun for all, 2008-02-03
This was an Xmas present for my 1 year old to add to the wooden set he inherited from his 4 year old sister. They both love the train set and character engines. This station has added an extra dimension they both enjoy. It's so simple to record, replay and re-record announcements. The wooden system is not cheap, but in my opinion it's about saving money on cheap track alternatives whilst spending the extra on more interesting add-ons. This is one such investment.

Our favourite train, 2006-03-09
Bought this train when it first came out and it has proved to be an excellent investment. Each time they bring out a new item in the SmartTrack range, the train goes straight back to the top of the list of favourite toys.We bought the engine shed and reversing tracks for Christmas and had Brio track all over the floor while the train trundled around, back and forth between station and engine shed. Definitely a good buy if you have boys who love trains.

Magnetic blocks, 2009-07-02
The bricks are excellent quality, but only very few. The magnets are good but perhaps a little tricky for younger ones to work out but it does all help with learning.
You need to buy two sets to make them worth playing with or else there just isnt enough to do anything with.
My two have never really played with them much, they prefer the normal blocks we have as there are more of them and they work regardless of which way you stack them - no magnetic field forcing the blocks apart!
