This is a lovely bag of wooden bricks. The smallest bricks quite small, so be cautious if buying for under 3's, but I am delighted with them. Lots of fun for little ones just stacking and knocking over, whilst older ones can use their imagination to build garages and railway bridges etc. Excellent value, good old fashioned quality.

An excellent toy for a one year old lively youngster...I know that I treasured my plain Victorian wooden blocks that my Grandfather handed down to me, he probably had played with them himself in his childhood. Sadly they went the way of many of my toys. These modern day equivalents are just as finely made and a splendid start to a new young generation of builders.

A good wooden version of the classic marble run game. My kids love the set so much I bought two (cheaply) so they can build an excellent run.You can change your design everytime as blocks are just balanced on each other. Suitable for age 3 upwards with help and a little patience, but fine for older kids to play on their own. It is a very good engineering based toy good for a bit of brain thinking, problem solving etc.There's nothing like letting kids learn by trying something out and having to fix any mistakes. You can't go wrong really with this toy, and there is something lovely about wooden toys, and toys you can enjoy with your kids.

Initially, my husband was a little sceptical because of the price but as soon as our daughters had unpacked the box, he was the first to start building. Our 2-year-old enjoys playing with just one run, the 4-year-old can build slightly longer runs, and dad is ever so creative. Definitely a hit!
