This is a great little toy for both my one and two year. It is real easy to put together, it is hard wearing but still flexible due to the materials used (latex on the drum - although not great for anybody allergic to the stuff) and elastic to connect the instruments to the base. It can be played sitting down (for smalls who can't stand yet) or be placed on a small table etc for 'bigger' smalls! For young children this is an excellent toy that can encourage exploration of rhythm and develop gross motor skills and fine motor skills for children who want to take it apart and put it back together like my son! It's also got style..

My 2 half yr old daughter loves this! It is durable and has catchy tunes, like the jackson fives ABC, she loves to push the buttons and already has a favorite tune! It also encourages her to learn colours, by remembering which colour is her favourite tune. I enjoyed having a go to! I'd recomend this to anyone who has a toddler!

I needed to purchase a gift for a 7 year old boy with a dad who is music
mad. His dad is a great fan of the Rolling Stones and plays rhythm guitar
to a high standard. I have been told that the gift is a great hit.
I had entered "Boys Toys" in a search engine and these were in the top three suggestions. They were very easy to use and handle and the child quickly learned the different functions available.

We bought this for our 21 month old son as a Christmas present. He is mad for magnets so we wanted something durable for him to be able to play with unlike the flimsy character magnet packs you buy in sheets. He loves it, as does his four year old sister. The pieces are chunky, so easy to hold and he has quickly grasped the concept of the toy by matching the different vehicles and pressing the traffic lights to hear the songs and general info on each mode of transport. Even his father and I hum along to '...in the bubble wash'. All in all a great toy and it doesn't have to stay on the fridge, we often see him walking it from room to room by use of a carry handle.

Our son is a year younger than recommended for these drums so is not ready for the lessons. However, he loves rock music and likes drumming along with The Feeling and Nickelback to his favourite tunes. They have a real drum sound although you can reassign the pads so that can get confusing. Lots of different styles to play with. Definitely worth the money.
