Kenwood
- Powerful 800w motor
- 4.6litre bowl capacity
- Gloss white
- Includes kbeater, balloon whisk, dough hook
- Comes with 1.5l Liquidiser and Splashguard
Delighted, 2008-06-19 I have never owned a Kenwood Chef before and must admit I was a bit dubious after reading the reviews but I am delighted!! A LOT less washing up than my previous food processor and so easy to use. Only one beater which works really well (we did have to adjust it slightly but it wasn't complicated) and now making my husband lots of gluten free bread and cakes.
Incidently the delivery was soooooooooooo fast I couldn't believe it!!

Brilliant kitchen gadget, 2008-11-24 I was doubtful when I first saw this, but having spent nearly a year using it at least once a week I wouldn't be without this now. We mainly use it for chips/wedges (adding spices) and roast potatoes (with onions or carrots and parsnips). Everything is turned and cooked evenly.
On the first one, we snapped one of the clips on the lid so got it replaced and are a bit more careful now. Despite this one weakness, I still highly recommend this to my friends.

Brilliant Piece of Kitchen Equipment, 2008-11-17 I bought this a few weeks ago when it was reduced to £179.99, as an upgrade from having a Kenwood Chef Classic.
The kenwood chef was ok at mixing and kneading but this maching is amazing.
So far since I have got this machine I have made:
100 cupcakes
2 10" xmas cakes
2 8" xmas cakes
2 6" xmas cakes
3 birthday cakes
Pizza Bases
Beef Burgers
mountains of buttercream
scones
The mixer handles everything i throw at it with no problems. a 10" xmas cake is a lot of mix, 500g sugar, 500g butter, 9 eggs, 2 KG of fruit, 500g flour.
The mixer quite happily coped with the butter, sugar and eggs, half the flour and 1/3 of the fruit before the bowl was full, but i believe it would have happily kept going without any problem.
This is the ideal addition to your kitchen, and will take the hard work out of baking and cooking as it is so versitile.
And a snap now that is has been reduced further to £149.99

Great slow food, 2008-07-19 I'm a fan of slow cooking and have several slow cookers in various sizes. I see from other reviewers that this particular cooker has divided opinion. I find that this one performs very well and doesn't seem to me much different from other slow cookers in its level of heating. One thing I would say is that the recipe leaflet with the cooker doesn't mention slow roasting as one of the things that you can do in it. The booklet implies that everything has to be immersed in liquid. Ignore this. I roast all sorts of joints, such as rolled should of pork or lamb. Slow roasted duck legs are particularly succulent done this way (brown the skin a bit in a frying pan and then about and hour and a half on High followed by a couple of hours on Low). In general, it's very flexible about timing and you can juggle between heat settings. I tend to start early with an initial period at High or Medium for an hour or so then switch to Low at which most meat can very slowly cook for ages. Whole, small chickens are delicious slow-roasted, but use High for most of the time and preferably check that the thick part of the leg has reached over 80 degrees centigrade to kill off any salmonella. I've just experimented with some rather tough beef back ribs that are rather tough when roasted, fast in a conventional oven, but were very tender in this slow cooker. I browned them a bit (as a rack) in a frying pan and then transferred them the pre-heated slow-cooker with about 200ml of hot beef fat. Two hours on Medium, plus 2 hours on LOW: result, succulent beef ribs. I've done something similar with pork ribs.
I always pre-heat slow-cookers if I'm adding hot liquid or fat with the meat.

Liquid Heaven, 2008-01-05 This was a perfect present for those who are chocaholics. It's extremely simple to use, easy to clean and is of solid construction. Granted you do need alot of people present to make it worth taking out as you need around 800g of chocolate. Very good value for money.

Panasonic
- 3 different loaf sizes
- Comprehensive bake modes
- Easy to use control pad
- Cool touch housing
- Rapid bakemode
Good quality, easy to use, 2008-11-26 As I am a miller in an 18th century watermill, I though it was about time I made my own bread. Many of our customers gave good reviews of the Panasonic brand, so I bought the SD255. It looked very substantial and well-made, and worked beautifully from the very first time. I have now made several loaves using different recipes from the manual provided with the breadmaker, and they have all been an unqualified success. There is absolutely no skill required, other than the ability to weigh the ingredients correctly and put them in in the right order. I was a little unsure about one of the other revues which mentioned the kneading paddle being loose on the stem. Mine is the same, but in the manual it says that this is intentional and not a fault. I would thoroughly recommend the SD255.

- Capacity 3.5 litres
- 3 settings - low, medium and high
- Toughened glass lid to monitor cooking without letting heat escape
- Dishwasher proof/removable ceramic pot
- Cooltouch handles
Lovely, 2008-09-20 I don't know why I've taken so long to buy one of these. My neighbour has one and I kept meaning to buy one but never got round to it. So anyway I've bought this one. Can't believe how cheap they are and is superior to a pressure cooker in that the meat cooks longer and is very tender. I've just made the Pork Goulash listed in the back of the instruction manual. It's flamin' gorgeous. I think I'll be using this as much as my steamer.

Kenwood
- Large chopper attachment & balloon whisk
- 2 Speed operation with pulse
- 400 watts
- Unique storage system
- Durable stainless steel blades
Absolutely LOVE it, 2008-10-15 I absolutely love the kenwood wizzard, I bought it about 4 months ago after breaking my old braun one (it fell out of the top cupboard & shattered on the floor!) I use the wizzard daily to make home-made baby food, I have been using the blender section for smooth purees and have now progressed onto the chopper attachment to introduce texture to the baby food. I cant comment on the whisk element as not had cause to use this yet. Would definately reccommend to anyone.

Excellent product, 2008-08-09 This is a fantastic little machine. I've had mine for a while now and have found it really useful for chopping and fine chopping veg (that's all i've used it for so far). It chops one small to medium sized onion, at a time, and although you need to chop things into large chunks (1/4's or 1/8's) to fit them in the small bowl, I still find this less hassle compared to handling and cleaning a normal sized processor. I've also found the bowl quite easy to remove and replace. The best thing is it hardly takes up any space at all in the cupboard, on your work surface or in the dishwasher and it's really lightweight.
