Integral
The Integral USB 2.0 Single Slot SD / SDHC Card Reader is a fast and convenient way of transferring data between any SD or SDHC Card and your PC or Mac.
good product - great value, 2010-08-29 This Integral card reader does everything you could ask quickly, conveniently, and at a very modest price. What more is there to say? It's such good value that I have two- one to use, and one to lose(temporarily). If you want an SD card reader look no farther.

Impressed so far..., 2010-09-03 Kindle 3G Day 1
I have been using a Sony PRS-505 for some time and have really been impressed with it. I use it for work and leisure and have been starting to use it to keep together the reference works for my doctorate.
For studying purposes, the Sony has two limitations: no ability to annotate and no ability to search. Given the poor viewing quality of the touch screen version I decided to go for a Kindle 3G instead. What follows are my early impressions of the Kindle both in its own right and alongside my faithful Sony.
The Kindle doesn't look as nice. The Sony is metal, red and oozes class; the Kindle is grey plastic and doesn't. They are about the same weight and offer about the same reading area.
The screen is much better. I have no complaints about the Sony but the contrast on the Kindle is a class above. I didn't really think the page turn speed was an issue, but now I've seen the speed of the Kindle page turn I think I'll find the Sony slow...
The range of fonts, sizes and layouts is very impressive. The Sony has one font and three sizes. With the Kindle you can almost typeset the page with the options available. I'll probably settle for one layout shortly but the ability to tweak is rather lovely.
I have not even begun to try the wireless facilities on offer, nor have I used the cataloguing and searching tools that moved me on from the Sony in the first place, but I'm already a convert. Once I have a nice cover (the Sony came with a decent one for free, please note), I don't think I'll look back.

Apple
Pocket computer, 2010-08-25 The range of activities this ipod enables is unbelievable to some one of my age. I can reply to emails dictating my replies. I can telephone my friends on skype. I can look up words in most common language and hear their pronunciation. I have a star guide, a bird guide with songs. The apps were either free or cost pence. It is a PDA, GPS and walkman as well. The only requirement is that one can access wi-fi.
An Ipad that fits in ones pocket.

Amazon
- Stylish genuine-leather exterior available in 7 different colours
- Soft, grey, microfibre suede interior protects Kindle
- Patent-pending hinge and external strap keep Kindle securely in place
- Lightweight, allowing you to read comfortably for extended periods of time
Quality item but overpriced, 2010-08-31 In the same vein as the majority of the other reviews for the new Kindle cover from Amazon, I'm going to have to echo the 'overpriced' nature of the item. It does seem Amazon are surfing the wave of enthusiasm for their new Kindle and I certainly wanted mine protected and saw this as the only decent option at the time of purchase.
Pros
I ordered the black cover and it is black, I know other people have mentioned theirs aren't quite what they expected.
It's manufactured to high quality standards and I've no doubt my Kindle (when it arrives) is going to be nice and safe. It has a nice feel to it as well.
Cons
Overpriced for a leather cover
While the elastic strip to keep the cover closed is I think actually fine and will be OK, I would have thought it better for some non-breakable locking to be used like magnets or something else would have been better.
All in all I'm very happy with the cover and can't wait to put my Kindle in it whenever it arrives!

Excellent product, excellent price, 2010-09-01 I print a lot of black and white documents so at just under £7 a cartridge (with the free delivery option) you can't really go wrong! I've never had a problem with the cartridges with my Epson SX215 printer so I can't recommend them highly enough!

AmazonBasics
Does exactly what it says on the tin., 2010-08-22 It's a cable. Either it does what it is supposed to do, or it does not. And this one does, for a far lower price than any other HDMI cable on the market. Considering it works better than a Tesco (Technika) cable I had, that cost me 5 times as much, 5 stars it is.
If you like your gadgets, save a few quid where you can, like buying this cable instead of a 20 quid Belkin, so you have more cash left to splash on the really fancy pieces of kit.
