I live in London, so no FM channels are interferance free, but this transmits a robust signal, and it sources the music from the lineout under the iPod (not from the lower quality headphone socket on top...)

It is so easy to setup (5 seconds is about right!). With no special software and no fake music files like the iTrip uses. Tune up and down using two small click buttons - frequency clearly displayed on the front. The competing Griffin looks much bigger and uglier (and is £10 more!) So buy the Pod Gear!

This gives near-CD quality that is difficult to fault...

...and it charges the iPod at the same time and needs no batteries (unlike the iTrip).

Warning: Make sure that your cigarette light socket is not in line with the gear stick. In my BMW530 Auto it fits beautifully, but if you have a Rover, watchout - you will have to use the extension connector, which is not pretty and will slip about.
