Great for your iPod, full control over your music play and a speaker too (useful if you want to share a video clip)!

Wish it was a little thinner (like the Apple FM remote) but the speaker does take up some space. Could have been managed though.

The actual item may differ, the one I received had 5 silver button controls (arranged in a circle) instead of a white single 4 position button and white centre button as shown.

This phone was recognized as an audio device by WinXP from the minute it was plugged in. I never did install the Skype helper software, because it just worked. Besides, these days I The sound is fine, though I wish the ringer were louder and the cord longer.

This would make a great present to someone who would enjoy free internet calling but is put by the headphones/mic config stuff.

In retrospect, I might have been happier with a USB headset because I don't really use the keys and screen, but this thing works and I have no regrets.

Bought two of this speaker, silver and black. Overall, this is a great speaker system. They produce quality sound for its size, midtones are good. it can work with my ipod nano 3G and ipod video.

If you are like me and cannot afford the official remote then this is perfect for you. It has a nice compact design so it is not too bulky like the official one. I tried this remote for a week and my battery is still fine so it does not eat up your batteries. The problems with it is that the sensor is not so good, so you have to point it within a specific range. If you have your console hidden away do not buy this. Other than that it is a good alternative and I strongly recommend it.

Just bought this fantastic phone!!, 2008-03-09
I bought this phone recently and so far I am really impressed with it. You get a lot for your money with this phone!! I doubt I will use the TV function very much, but it has loads of other functions. The only real downsides are the manual is on CD and not very clear and the menus on the phone take a bit of getting used to. Other than that this phone is great value for money. Customer service is also good. E-mails that I sent to Tecknet were replied to the following day.

This items works fine for me under XP Home on my laptop. Comes with easy to follow instructions and a CD with the drivers. The blue LED glows when connected, glows brighter when a serial device is connected, and flashes as data is transferred between USB and serial. I did quite a bit of research trying to find a USB to serial solution - I am very happy with my choice.
