Bought this as additional memory for my ASUS - Eee PC 701 4G blue (UK version). The Transcend 8Gb SDHC Class 6 Flash Memory Card is listed in the QVL documentation that came with the Asus but I wasn't sure if the 16GB card would be ok. Both the card and the USB reader worked perfectly out of the box and my only gripe is that I have to unplug an adjacent USB slot on my PC when using the reader because it is so wide.

This is a great card - I tested it with a card reader to write and then read a 1 GB file and the it took about 12-14 mins each!

For people complaining about postage - as one reviewer said, it is probably to reduce seller charges by Amazon. Whatever the reason, it is still much cheaper than most places I looked (online/in-store) for a high speed card! So, no complaints!

I have had my 8GB transcend USB key for a couple of months now, and have not had any issues with transfer speed. The drive is regularly emptied and refilled, and I've yet to have any problems with data corruption.

The reason I give it 4 out of 5 instead of full marks is because there is no lid. It's a slide-out USB connector, and though I've had no problems with it so far, bits and fluff could probably get in there!

A must have accesory for anyone who owns a High Capacity SD Card (SDHC) either for a digital camera or a Flash based Camcorder. It makes transfering files to the computer a hassle free task, with no cables and no problems. Small and extremely easy to use. It's so cheap there's no reason not to have one. I highly recommend it.
