i have had these headphones for a few years now. i use them for my computer, playing music, watching videos and even for recording my own music. the sound is good. yes they are made from plastic but i think they are still pretty well made.

the wire is 3 meters long (i think) and for me its good cuz i may be walking around the room with them on and its handy but if you wona be on-the-go and have your lead wrapped around your Ipod and have a whole pocket devoted to your long lead, id advise not to because there is so much lead itl just look stupid and its just a bit of a faff really. these are not the headphones for you.

the only 1 bad thing about these headphones is, they do leak sound so other people can hear your music if the volume is turned up high.
other than that they are great, especialy for that price, you cant complain!

Wonderful product for the price , 2008-05-13
Slim, sleek and portable, ideal for beach journeys, picnics or taking on hols. Also has normal FM in case DAB reception is particularly poor or you're abroad in a non DAB supported country.

However as a regular daily runner runner without using the mains lead it could however become more expensive than living under a labour government.

Whilst many reviews have quite rightly mentioned the battery life this is in keeping with all DAB products that I have owned and to be fair is more of a technology issue than a "design flaw" in this product, neither Roberts or Pure offer any better battery life from experience in both brands.

This unit will run for approx 8 hours on decent Duracell's. Sound is louder than most simliarly priced radio's offering decent clarity for all music types.

I would thoroughly recommmend this product and at the price and being by Sony you are sure that it will last for a few years, fingers crossed.

Bought this as a second tv for watching DVDs and have been very pleased so far. The picture is sharp with natural colours given a decent source on the 720p HDMI input. On a quick test 1080i did not improve things. We also got excellent results using the SCART inputs and RGB from a Philips DVD player. Sound is ok but that is a limit of the chassis size. Have not had a chance to try the tuner side yet.

It is easy to set up with decent on-screen menus and a logical layout for the remote control. For what I paid I am very pleased and would buy again.

I did a lot of research before upgrading my big rear-projection TV which had served me well for around 4 years. This TV scored great and it has all the 'modern' connectivity you need with lots of menu adjustment options to get the picture A1. Usability and set up is also easy.

I was initially a little disappointed but after a day the TV seemed to settle down through use, maybe like hi-fi sounds better after a few days, and then I was shocked at just how good it was. With HD it is truly exceptional but the standard picture is also very good.

I figure it'll be great for another 3-4 years and so the price per day is small given the use a good TV gets in a family. Of course, I was so impressed with the picture on this TV I went and got a top line surround sound amp and speaker set up too :-) Awesome buy with a good price and delivery from Amazon!

Excellent !, 2008-10-19
Spent weeks trying to decide which model to buy. My priorities included a) Quiet b) Easy to Use c) Easy to Install d) Compatible with my existing equipment (includes Epson Projector, LG Cinema Sound, Sharp LCD. It came up trumps in all requirements. My wife could not get on with my previous LG DVD recorder...far too complicated, but within 30 mins was recording to HDD quite merrily. The manual looks daunting, but to be up and running you need about 3 pages only. The manual is available on-line at Sony's site, so I got everything planned before it arrived.

A couple of Reviews on the "Black" version complained about noise ... must have been a faulty item, and another about intrusive LEDs but neither have been noted.

I would recommend this to anyone.

Great Accessory, 2008-08-12
It does it's job brilliantly. Designed specifically for the Sony Alpha DSLR and the A200 fits perfectly inside, as will the A350 and A700. There are two side pockets for memory cards/filters and a lengthy shoulder strap.

The only down side is the side pockets aren't really big enough for the charger, due to the size of the UK plug. It will fit inside the main case however, but be careful not to scratch your camera.

This is just a great bit of kit ordered it on the 19th got it on the 20th i think the sony software is fine, and the picture is brilliant looks amazing on my 1080p samsung tv. The avchd can take a fair bit of time to burn but looks great on the blu-ray player. The extras will cost you as there is no case and only a 4gig memory card included, But all in all if you want the best this is it.

Sony SRS-NWGM30 Speaker Dock

Just what I was looking for, 2008-12-20
Wanted a speaker dock to go with my new sony mp3 S639FB. This was at least £20 cheaper than anywhere else. The only drawback that it said it would be 1-2 months until they had stock. Decided to go for it anyway and was so surprised when I got an email a couple of days later saying it would be dispatched soon. It arrived about 4days later.

POSTAGE TIME AND CONDITION
Postage was Super Saver and was about 1-2days after dispatch email so really quick as usual with Amazon! It was in a large cardboard box but fully protected around the sides by scrunched up paper

LOOKS
It looks the part I like the metal lining around the bottom gives it a really classy look. Nice fit on a desk too.

BUILD QUALITY
I have always been more than impressed by Sonys build quality and this is no exception. It is solid, and doesn't feel at all cheap. The player sits comfortably in when used with the adaptor provided in the mp3 package. If you dont have that dont worry it will still sit in it fine!

SOUND
First class goes nice and loud and got a nice bass - just what I was looking for

MISC
* This is fully portable as it takes 4AA Batteries
* There is a connection point at the back which allows you to connect the player to you computer while it sits in the dock, although as usual you will not be able to play any songs while it is connected.
* It also charges the device but obviously as you are using it at the same time, it will take longer to fully charge
