Luxury unit. It is kind of like having a Nokia 8800. it is not any faster than Titanium (even slower then Titanium Plus version) but it is a state of art. It stands out of all USB my friends own like Bentley would stand out in the Tesco's car park.
Buy it to please your eyes. And it is pretty fast!

I bought this just the other day, and I am very pleased with the performance of it.
First of all for a 1gb and at nearly £6, thats worth it. I have had no trouble with it so far and its performance has not been slow at all. Its worked well the way I want it to and the product its self is small and does not feel cheap.

Worth looking into.

unfortunately, despite stating it twice in the description, this card does not come with the ProDuo adapter. I am sure the card by itself is great, but without the ability to move it from device to PC, it is next to useless for me. I have found it extremely difficult to find genuine Sony or Sandisk memory cards, so I turned to Amazon as a more reliable supplier and still I don't get what it says in the description.

SANDISK EXTREME FIREWIRE READER

Having got tired of waiting for the USB based card reader built into my PC to download images from my EOS300D, I had a look for faster readers. As I've got a SanDisk "Extreme III" 1 GB card, and having had a look at a test of it, I went for the Extreme Firewire reader, and it's worth every penny!

The Extreme III card is rated at 20 MB/s and a quick, pretty non-scientific, test showed 16+ MB/s when I plugged it into the Extreme reader. I don't know what the specification for the built in reader I have is but images that took 7 mins to download only took 21 secs with the Extreme reader...

I should perhaps have bought the reader with 2 GB "Extreme IV" bundle and saved a few £'s, but that's not a criticism!

This is the simplest and most secure way of file saving I have seen. Load up U3 create your documents using the free open office package (which even loads up windows files using the wizard) or photo files on any machine operating directly from your U3, save the file and undock the U3 and nothing is on the machine its all on your stick. I even have my own wall paper and work directly from my U3.There are more free programs to download at the Sandisk U3 portable site. No more saving it on the computer, its mine and with me all the time anywhere I go, and its password protected!! MAGIC

I've been meaning to buy a decent MP3 player for months, and having just shelled out good money on getting my son's iPod Classic repaired after less than a year of use, decided to give this a try. As a Nikon professional camera user, I know and trust SanDisk products but was completely unprepared for the value the Fuze represents. It actually looks, feels and sounds like a quality piece of kit. The headphones provided are pretty dreadful, but then I was prepared to use my own anyway - standard 3.5mm jack so no issue there. The only 'charger' is the USB lead provided which doesn't bother me too much, though cheap mains adapters are available on e-Bay and I'll probably get one eventually.

The real plus points are:

1)the sound quality, which with decent headphones is outstanding.

2)the radio, which auto tunes according to geographical region and sets presets for the strongest available signals. Reception is surprisingly good - so far tried in the US and UK

3)Screen quality. Ignore what you might read elsewhere, this screen works well enough for me to look at synch'd images from my camera. Tiny, but good colour and clear.

4)Video - The wide screen trailer for the new Bond is currently impressing a few family members! Great sound and watchable.

5)Sound recording - I wasn't prepared for the quality of the internal mike and recording. Stick it in the middle of a conference table and record the meeting minutes live. Really quite impressive.

6) Sandisk website support. Downloading the latest firmware - advisable - was a doddle

7) Pre-loaded sampler of music. Now this may be unique to the US version which I bought but there were some great tracks pre-loaded on this thing. 'Umphrey's Mcgee', 'Wine, Women and Song' for a start.

8) Micro SD card support. Around £13 buys you a SanDisk 8Gb card which, when added, actually works as seamless additional storage.

9) No iTunes trap. Either use Windows explorer to drag and drop files across, or better still just let Windows Media Player synch the files for you

All in all, an excellent player.
