Sony do it yet again., 2008-11-18 This has a great picture and really good sound. I've only had a few hours but this product is good. There are a few tiny little moans. The first is that even though it says i can work my TV from the remote vie a code, it just doesn't work. ( MY Tv being a LG LCD). The front is a bit basic but I like that but some won't.....Tiny things but all in all, its agreat DVD Player....

Great little case, 2008-01-05 This is a great little case for all Sony Camera owners out there. It's soft enough to protect your delicate camera and yet tough enough to protect it from the elements. It does exactly as it says really. I'm curruntly using it for my Sony Cybershot DSC-W55 and have to say it protects it really well, doesn't leave any scratches or marks on the camera at all. It fastens with a velcro tab and has a small zipped compartment on the front for a spare battery or memory card. Overall, a great product and well worth the money. Much better value than other unofficial camera cases available. Plain, simple and good value for money.

Sound Good, look great and work perfect everytime., 2008-11-06 These headphones I found very good and especially for the price, you can hardly even buy wired ones for this money.
I do agree you get a very small hissing noise if no music is playing but this will never be heard when you start listening to music.
I use these with a Sony MP3 player and do admit they are not a patch on the wired headphones that came with my MP3 player but that's because they are £50 in ear headphones, for Bluetooth headphones the DRBT21 are definitely a good choice and sound is as good as you can get for the money and BLUETOOTH.

Please only buy from Amazon, 2008-06-04 This is a great product but please don't fall into the trap of buying a cheap counterfeit stick from a market place seller. I have had the experience but thankfully I didn't spend that much on it at the time. After a few days upon receiving my fake stick, my game data started to corrupt which I was not to pleased about as I had spent over 50hrs on the game!
If you buy a Sony stick from Amazon you will receive a genuine memory stick! I have even heard that someone had spent £40 on a memory stick and turned out to be a fake. All in all this stick is a must buy for PSP owners!

SORRY BUT I HAVE A QUESTION ON BRAVIA, 2008-06-27 Hi
Firstly, I know this is a place to put your reviews, and hopefully I will be doing that shortly!
But I thought that as all of you are obviously very satisfied with your Sonys and also the research I have done on the Sony HD Ready LCD tv it looks perfect for my needs.
I was on the verge of buying this tv when it was pointed out to me that if you do not have cable or satellite then you cannot use this tv or that the quality of the picture is far below what it should be.
From the reviews I have read, everyone seems satisfied - does this mean that you all have cable/satellite?
Many thanks for your help

An excellent little machine for the money, 2008-07-22 Needed a new machine and it had to have a cassette deck (as I still have a lot of homemade tapes from my youth!) and a DAB radio too so this was a perfect machine on paper and the price was excellent too!
I read a lot of the reviews and was a little worried about the sound quality and the DAB signal. But the machine was for my kitchen and wasn't going to be my "state of the art machine."
Arrived very quickly from Amazon (many thanks!) Very easy to set up, it is indeed correct that the speaker cables are not very long. I didn't appreciate this. They are about 1 metre in length maybe a little longer so please take note, it could be a problem.
Switched on the auto tune for the DAB radio and oh-no, no BBC DAB stations as all. So re-tuned again and again and again. At that point my husband said "this is crap it's going back, that cheap DAB radio from Asda can pick up DAB and we live on top of a hill with a massive TV / radio mast nearby!" But I asked him to try moving the DAB aerial and interesting when he placed it horizontally rather than vertical and then retuned the BBC stations appears as did many more stations. So that maybe something for others who have made problems worth DAB to try. I have switched the machine on a few times since and the stations are still there.
Very happy with the features, the sound quality and the price of the machine. No complaints so far and would recommend this.
5 stars.

- Adjustable Backstop for iPods
- Wake to iPod, Radio or Buzzer
- Digital AM/FM Tuner
- Wireless Remote Control
- iPod Battery Charging
Great, 2008-09-30 Thanks to the very specific reviews on Amazon in respect of looking for the Mk2 (thanks guys on .com) I took a leap of faith and bought this, and I'm glad to say it has delivered what I needed for my iPhone 3G.
I hate having to faff-around and was in the position of having to remove the silicone skin I have on the phone to put it into the 3G dock at night (even though it is quite thin). For me it's rendered the official dock (and extra cost!) rather obsolete but that's another story...
The adjustable wheel on this Sony has solved the problem and has allowed me to listen to all my podcasts easily.
Functionality to drive the phone through the remote control is better than expected and it charges fine.
The unit itself gives good sound quality (for the price) and has all of the functions you need in a clock radio.
To be fair, the overall design is a bit odd - it does look top heavy and I can understand why people may suspect instability - although I've applied pressure to a number of points and it seems ok. The top controls could probably do with some livening up colour wise, if I had to be picky.
The backlight is probably on a par with my old Phillips unit. Yes it's quite bright (although adjustable in three steps) but personally this doesn't bother me a jot.
Everything considered, a great little purchase.

Truly Remarkable, 2008-08-09 I wanted a new camcorder for the holidays. I come from the era of tape, and although I have gone digital in all other areas, this was the last one to be upgraded. My first camcorder was a Hitachi, that was a Super VHS-C, would record 30 minutes, and the thing looked like what the BBC camera men would carry and it cost £1,500.00 back in 1991. My we have come a long way!
The Sony camcorder is simply stunning (not without faults - later!).
With the £50.00 cash back its only £690.00 or there about. I have given it 5 stars, but it should score a 4.75, as it does have some flaws, but these are very minor gripes when you consider what you get.
Firstly, it looks the nuts. It looks cool; it's well built and oozes quality. For me I would class it as tiny, it sits in the palm of my hand, so no more lugging around large camcorders, tape and bags etc. That is a big advantage.
The menu system makes it very easy to use, the touch screen works like a dream, and the image on the little screen is truly superb. I love all of it.
Sony really has got it together when it comes to consumer electronics. The accessories are mainly the cables, with a docking shoe, which is useful for charging when not in use.
The picture quality far surpasses my expectations. My wife's garden looked simply stunning on our 46 inch 1080p Sony Bravia. The colours don't run like on the old tape camcorders, and the greens of the trees in the garden are virtually life like. I can't explain how good they look. The camcorder was primarily bought for outside holiday shooting and for this it will be ideal.
Here is the big selling point for me, and where Sony gets it right ahead of all the other competition. Inter connectivity with other Sony products. I can plug the camera into my PlayStation 3, via the USB cable and simply either watch the footage on the TV via the PS3, or can even copy the footage to the PS3 and keep it on there and watch when I want. This for me is truly the best thing ever, no more burning DVD's or plugging it into the TV etc; I can just plug into the PS3 copy it off and watch it. That for me is the major advantage of digital technology and where Sony has got it right.
Our PS3 is the centre of our living room, we have all our digitalphoto's on ther, all of our music, and now we can have all of our home movies on there.
I can now just get myself a larger external hard drive, and simply have a library of my footage on a hard drive and can simply watch when needed, no more discs, no more burning DVD's.
Convenient it is.
My only 2 gripes are these.
You can set it to fade in and out when recording, but you have to remember to do it every time, you cannot default it. Something my old Sony tape camcorder would not do either.
Secondly, fast panning shots do become slightly blurred, so when doing panning shots, you have to take them slow, but it can happily record moving footage as long as your not moving fast, trees in the wind looked brilliant, but pan away fast and it will blur, but I can't imagine my old camcorder did any different.
So there yo have it, its well built, quality, superbly convinient, cheap, great picture and only minor faults.
Well done Sony.

Protect and take your Sony digital camera with you wherever you go with the specifically designed LCS-AMA case. Modernly designed, yet robust, this case also contains storage areas for your accessories and a handy, removable shoulder strap.
Great Accessory, 2008-08-12 It does it's job brilliantly. Designed specifically for the Sony Alpha DSLR and the A200 fits perfectly inside, as will the A350 and A700. There are two side pockets for memory cards/filters and a lengthy shoulder strap.
The only down side is the side pockets aren't really big enough for the charger, due to the size of the UK plug. It will fit inside the main case however, but be careful not to scratch your camera.
