I have just now received my tripod. And it's exactly as it looks in the pictures. This item is superb value for money as it has the typically rigid, quality feel as you would expect from a sony product.
It is a mighty compact tool which extends without losing the rigid feel. A Must Buy.

I bought this a few days ago. Transfer speed is great. My PC is an over clocked (to 3.0ghz) core 2 duo and as such it transfers stuff quickly anyway.

Filled the card with music in 14 minutes. From a review I read about a San Disk M2 card, I would recommend paying a few quid extra for the Sony card.

These things are so small though!

It didn't come with an adaptor.

Bought these speakers for my Sony Ericsson Walkman phone - good value at under £18. Being a genuine SE accessory, they seem to have really tuned these little beauties to work with their phones. The connection is a dedicated one for SE phones w Walkman/media players - please check they're compatible with your phone before getting them!

They come in a hardy clear plastic carry box that's about the size of a small spectacle case, are light and easily portable, and materials used, build quality etc are top notch.

You get brilliant sound quality with decent aural range out of them, amazingly they don't use batteries, instead drawing their juice from the phone. The wiring also serves as the antenna for your phone's radio, and reception is really clear. Volume is decent, but not having their own power supply does mean their sound level does top out at a satisfactory, rather than spectacular level. Still, perfect for overnights in hotel rooms. It's great to travel light with only 3 items for short trips - phone, charger, and speakers - rather than phone & charger, psp & charger, sound dock and batteries.

Highly recommended: when these arrived in the office and I tried them out, three of my colleagues with SE phones were so impressed with the sound quality and simplicity of them that they promptly went online and bought them too.

What a speaker. I have hours of fun with this gem. Imagine a Babybel. Now pretend it isn't eatable. You take off one piece and you find a connector. Plug this into your WALKMAN and now you have the perfect combination: WALKMAN device and a Babybel-like speaker. Excellent!

Background: I am first time home cinema buyer. I have never been keen on too many speakers/big boxes in my living room. Mainly because I own a hi-fi music system that takes up a lot of space. My living room is 12x15 foot.

Review: I have had the Sony HT-IS100 for about a month. It was the perfect size/price solution. I considered Sony DAVIS10 amongst a few others. The IS100 has 3 HDMI inputs, one HDMI TV output, upscales to 1080p, minus the DVD player. Compare this to DAVIS10 which upscales to 1080i, has a single HDMI connection and does not have x.v. Colour and 24p True Cinema technology. I did not need the DVD player. Similar sized speakers, better specifications makes this little gem future proof.

I have compared this to Sony RHT G900 on its own and a Yamaha YSP-900 with a subwoofer attached. The HT-IS100 sounds as good if not better than the Yamaha, has better sound separation and is almost invisible. Compared to Sony RHT G900 the performance from HT IS100 is awesome. Overall bass and treble reproduction is great, mid tones are ok. I would not use this as a dedicated music system though it does a decent job with stereo sound. I am very happy with the purchase. If your living room is of a similar size don't hesitate.

If you are a first time home cinema buyer set aside an hour or two to plan wall mounting and connecting the system. The system comes with an optical cable, a remote (can be use to control Sony TV and DVD) and plenty of speaker cables. You will need an extra HDMI cable if you want to make use of the high definition TV out.

I am very happy with this TV. Picture is great, showing none of the blocking or similar artefacts that I have noticed on friends' flat screen TVs. I'm now re-thinking my plan to get Sky+HD and an upscaling DVD upgrade as I'm not sure that I'll notice that big an improvement.

It has enough inputs and outputs of each type for me. The sound is good, although I have a home hi-fi setup to go with it so don't value that. It looks good and mounted easily with an Allcam PLB103M.

Took a while for Amazon to deliver, but then they told me that up front. They included a guarantee which I think needs some admin from me to be valid.

I'm pleased.

I must admit I have never like ear bud headphones, usually they sound tinny and leak outside sounds in even in the quietest of environments.
These however are something else. The sound is deep & clear and I was amazed by the noise canceling ability of these little things. I have been using the bose quiet comfort 2 wrap around headphones but these have much better noise reduction capabilities.
Of course as ear buds they are not the most comfortable you'll get but overall I'd definitely recommend these.

Being a Sony fan and wanting to buy a a portable DVD player as a Christmas present for a 7 yr old (girl of course as it's pink!) This obviously fit the bill. I did toy with getting one of those own brand ones from Argos or wherever as they are half the price but only for a nano second! It goes without saying that the quality of the build, the picture e.t.c. are second to none and it's very stylish looking too. You will find it is nice and 'thin' compared to the cheap own brand ones and a bargain at this price. If you are thinking of getting a portable DVD then forget the cheap ones, this is what you want.
