I've had one of these for a while now and bought it after a demo in good audio store. It is capable of handling all music with some ability and can really rock when turned up! The basic tone is nearly neutral and benefits from a little treble and bass lift. It suits voice and acoustic material well - Rock and Jazz do well with a little bass lift. DAB reception is good. I can get all the major stations loud and clear. There are loads of station presets available on the excellent remote control. It has an input for your MP3 / iPod and a headphone socket. I bought it specifically as a kitchen system and its very narrow front-to-back footprint (about 6") means it takes-up little room against the wall. And it can be used as an 'alarm-clock' set to come on at a preset time, playing whatever source you want.

Fabulous Reception and Looks Great, 2007-09-17
I purchased the Legato 2 after much research and have just set it up, very easily. I bought the "Cherry" finish and the quality look and feel is great, in fact if anything the unit is heavier than I expected.
Autotune soon had me listening through the quality sound speakers and I have set some of the pre-sets already with my favourite radio stations. I was a bit concerned about the other review on Amazon about the slow CD player, but my CD player loads quickly and plays straight away.
The information avaialble on the screen is also very useful and the remote works a treat. I would think that eventually the screens will get bigger, but this one is very legible with a soft blue backlight. I love my first DAB product.

Great DAB Radio, 2007-10-04
I bought a Goodmans DAB radio but the thing never worked properly - popping and chuffing all the time because it just couldn't pick up enough signal. Ordered a Pure Evoke 2 and have now thrown Goodmans away. The Evoke 2 is great. Super clean signal and superb sound for such a small box. Nice clear layout and high quality buttons and knobs. I like the extra sockets on the back - though I have not plugged an extra speaker in yet. I have not experienced any of the problems reported by others. Am I lucky or have Pure sorted the bugs out? I have a Pure Chronos too, which is also excellent, and the reason I bought the Evoke 2. I think Pure equipment is well designed and built.
