A little disappointed, 2008-12-28
The frame arrived quickly and the box was well protected although the black frame was scratched from behind (this must have occurred at the factory as the box is security sealed. The screen has good detail, unfortunately it is a 16:9 screen rather than a 4:3 which means that it either crops your photos, or you have to put up with black bars at the sides (not using the whole screen width). It has taken me some time to adjust the brightness/contrast and colour/tint and I'm still not happy with it. Skin tones seem bland but reds/greens are too bold. Dark pictures are too dark but light pictures are too bright. I was also expecting to plug the frame into my PC, via the USB, and be able to copy files onto the separate SD card, however I cannot. The menu functions are slow and occasionally the frame gets confused and freezes. Over all it's not bad and the quality is certainly better than some screens I have seen but I have seen better 4:3 screens for a slightly cheaper price.

I bought this media player for my commute to work and its great. It's simple and easy to use. Uploading videos is straightforward and it runs all of the video formats that I have wanted to download - so far I haven't experienced the problems the other reviewers seem to have. The quality of the picture is good for a portable device. It's made my commute bearable anyway!!

I had recently bought these films for my daugthers polariod. When they arrived in post, I put the first set straight in the polariod, since she had run out of film. She took her first picture of her cat, and it came out with a giant gold mark on the picture. We thought maybe it was just that picture, and the others will be alright. So I took a picture of me and my daughter, testing the second picture. Again, there was the giant gold mark. It was so huge, it was covering her face, and you could only see a half of mine. All the rest of the photos had a gold mark, and some had big faded orange prints. I was really disappointed, since these were very expensive. I will not be buying the films from amazon again.

Nearly perfect, 2008-12-22
Took delivery of this model 2 weeks ago, easily set up and quality as good as reported by others. Then the problems the picture began to freeze for a couple to 30 seconds and sound lost, ran it for a few more days but still same problems. I tried a better quailty aerial lead to see if it made any difference, no better. Contacted Amazon and went throught the returns procedure, superb service, I had a new set delivered the next day. Faulty set collected a few days later on the day of my choosing.
New set almost perfect, I did also invest in a high quality aerial lead.
Just occaisionally there is a split second falter in the signal but if it gets no worse thats fine. I am very pleased with the quality of picture of this set at budget price.

This is a great TV, everything you could want.

The only problem is that it takes ages to change the channel cos you have to pick the whole thing up and shake it and blow on it til the picture clears
