I read the other reviews on here and decided to 'take the plunge' with this item. i am absolutely delighted with it - very easy to use, excellent sound quality and it charges both my wife's Ipod Shuffle and my Ipod Nano (obviously not at the same time!). One slight issue: when charging my Nano there is a loud buzzing sound if I am playing songs at the same time through the speakers. However, as I bought this primarily for my other half's Ipod Shuffle and that works excellently, it still deserves five stars. I can wholeheartedly recommend this product.

This little piece of hardware is truely great. It costs £20, charges your Ipod and improves the quality of the output massively! It uses the 'Line Out' instead of the headphone jack, so when I connected the ipod to my car stereo the difference in sound quality was massive.

It is also very adjustable, and I have it sitting in the perfect location for me to see the tunes playing and change them when I'm not moving.

My only criticisms are :
1. It's very white! Good for matching Ipods, but very obvious to thieves!
2. Bit clunky for inserting ipod.

Other than that - Absolutely top class! I use it with a lead connecting to my CD changer input on my Kenwood system. Super!

What more could you ask for? A well packaged, great value for money iPod charger with the added bonus of being able to charging my cheap MP3 player and digital camera all for £15! I don't know how other people have found this charger so awful. It's fantastic. I lost the adapter and gear4 sent me another out next day free of charge. I'm sure if anyone else had a problem with a gear4 product then they would have sorted it for them. They were one of the best companies i've ever called with a problem. BUYING AN IPOD? BUY THIS PRODUCT!

I dont know why people dont like these speakers, they are great. The design is simple & sleek, they are easy to use & you can ad accessories to your ipod to use with the speakers like the reomte control. The volume is very good, I had a garden party & they more than made enough noise. And the sound quality is good too nomatter how low/ high the volume. They are a bargain & well worth buyin.

Trawled the Internet for as many reviews as we could find about this. Most were negative, some really badly so, but a few were 'it's OK, it does the job'. Bought it anyway as we do a lot of long haul travel and wanted to keep things as small as possible. Anyway, we think it's just brilliant. Sound quality is miles better than the laptop's speaker and the volume is great. Left it playing in the kitchen and could still hear it at the bottom of the garden 20 metres away. OK, it's not like being at a concert but this is a great little product.

I have to admit I was a little sceptical of this given the price of the item, but I was persuaded by the online reviews i read. And thank goodness I did!

The sound is crisp and the bass is strong, and it coped well with a variety of music. It packs a very impressive sound from it's 1 watt speaker - it actually sounds alot crisper than my previous portable set packing more punch. I bought this one for a holiday player - but i feel that in a small room or kitchen for background music it would also do just fine.

The placement of the on button keeps the overall lines of the unit clean and crisp - very much in keeping with the ipod.

The only niggle I have on it is putting the battery in. The battery is housed at the back of the unit but requires a little more strength than i would like to open it.

More than happy to recommend this and so far I am a happy shopper.
