- PANASONIC 5.1 HOME CINEMA SYSTEM
- 1000W POWER OUTPUR
- IN BLACK
- 5 SPEAKERS
Great for the money, 2008-10-20 What a differance it is watching a movie with surround sound and some deep bass.I found this unit easy to setup, I had it up and running in 15 mins. The sound quality is good and the up grade picture quality is also good.
The rear wireless speakers work well, I have a 26Ft (8m) living room and it works great over this distance.
The cables on the speakers could do to have been longer, but every system I looked at had cables of a similar length.
Buy you HDMI cable and optical lead for Amazon as well and save a load of money

- DVD recorder
- Freeview Only
- 160GB Gb hard disk capacity
- 1080p Dvd Upscaling
- Recording format DVD-R/DVD-RW/DVD+R/DVD+RW/DVDRAM
Excellent Value for Money, 2008-10-22 I have found this DVD / HDD Recorder very easy to set up and use. Picture quality is good and speed of operation is as fast as can be expected. I have my Sky+ box AV2 connected to the DVD AV2 so I can record Sky without any problems. The initial unit I had was faulty, it wouldn't format / record DVDs and thought non RAM type had the protection tab selected. The Panasonic customer help line were very helpful and the Amazon returns procedure is hassle free. I use Maxwell DVD+RW and Panasonic RAM disc (Panasonic recommend Maxwell, JVC and their own discs). Many people prefer RAM discs, I would agree but the format is different so no good for playing in most DVD Players, However the files can be copied to your PC and if the file extension is changed to .mpg they will play on your PC and DVD software can turn them into standard DVD. The unit doesn't have an analogue reciever but this isn't a problem for me as I only use Sky and have bought the unit because my Sky+ disk is always full and I also want to back old VHS to DVD, which I can do through the AV inputs.

Expensive Packaging, 2008-01-09 Be careful if you order this, the headline price is only brought down to reality when you finally get to the "place your order" page and find they want 4.50 for delivery to a standard UK mainland address.
For an item this small this is very high, it is cheaper to pick one up from a shop next time you are out and about.

Just what I needed, 2008-11-21 I really am very impressed with this camera.
The picture quality is really impressive, and the OIS does seem the help steady minor shakes, though I will always believe a good tripod is the best investment a photographer can make.
It's a little bit on the thick side, but just small enough for pocket use, even with the optional 'leather' case, which isn't leather, but is decent.
The display is a real treat after tiny ones, 3 inches of lcd makes life so much easier.
The video performance is the most suprising thing, stunning sharp pictures, only let down by left channel only sound.
Battery life is long enough not to irritate and a 4Gb class 6 SDHC card holds over 700 full resolution pictures, (shop around, I found one on here for under a fiver!)
Proably has many options you will never use, but they are there if you want them.
Great camera, easy to use, and looks really smart.

Very Nice TV, 2008-06-16 This is my 1st LCD TV, after stepping up from a good'old Panny WS CRT, and wow is it nice and visually pretty slick. Set-up was a breeze picking up the 70+ freeview channels instantly.
My PS3 takes full advantage utilitising 1 of the 3 HDMI ports and looks impressive at 1080P with crystal clear images and text, Blu-Ray/Sky HD looks awesome on this TV to. Xbox360 via component sockets is equally good looking running at 1080i and is great for GTAIV/GH3. Dont have a Wii so cant comment on SD (standard def) gaming.
Motion is handled very well with no ghosting/blurring in games, films or TV. Colours are vivid and can be adjusted to taste, dynamic is alittle excessive if you ask me. Blacks are v.good for an LCD with plenty of detail (tho im used to a CRT), Whites are bright, no flicker. The backlight is v.good, it can be a little uneven at times in certain corners but does equal out through use, and is not a problem in normal viewing as its very faint and not noticable on anything but a totally blank black screen (in a dark room).
DVD's look very good, and the upscaling works very well and looks sharp and clean. Sky SD channels equally are v.nice.
The built-in Freeview tuner for me is actually very good considering its being upscaled to 1080P from 576. Being in an area of good reception, the picture is pretty sharp (depending on the source and age of the program, BBC1 Live/New progs are very clear, while your ITV4 1970's show are, well you can guess). Fast motion is handled very well (watching the euro2008 footy), theres little pixalation (tho small players on a green field screen still have a pixalation around them if you look 'real' close. Tones/colour are v.good, but can look abit smoothed at times - I guess this is down to freeviews signal quality and digital compression as much as anything else... But all in all the image is great when at the proper viewing distance. The EPG isnt bad either and is clear and quick. Oh and theres a sleep timer too (incr. of 15mins)
No problems with using the TV via the sky controller (though it was set-up for my old panny TV which appears to use the same settings). The Panny controller is good with nice large solid buttons. Note the infra-red on the TV is in the far bottom left corner so dont block it.
You have 4 Picture Mode settings Dynamic/Normal/Cinema/Eco each of which can be adjusted, bri/con/color/noise_red settings for each Mode are used across all channels/sources, though the TV will remember your Mode of choice for each source.
Only issue I had was a random v.faint buzz which was solved by placing a small bit of foam at the back over the offending spot.
I havent tried the included SD picture card port/viewer so cant comment.
Overall very happy with this purchase, is a great TV for HD games systems/blu-ray and sky HD, Sky SD and dvd's are very clear and freeview is good as well. The sound produced is pretty good too. Recommended! Note the price of this does seem to fluctuate on a daily basis so remember Amazons awesome 30day price-change refund policy, saved me £90!

- SD Card
- 6GB
- Single Pack
- Class 4
Not Bad For The Money, 2008-12-29 Bought this SD Card last week and it Arrived Today, 6gb HD. Seems a very good bit of kit. Ive' got a Panasonic Lumix Dig Camera. Work's great with that, But not so great on the PC. My other Cheap SD Card 2gb Work's fine. Slot it in the Printer, Read's it, come's up on screen etc. This one, say's it need's Formating, try to do it and say's unable. You can buy a card reader/format, but that's more money. Might as well Bought a Cheap 6gb card. Wish they would tell you this on Screen before you buy! You can Use the camera with it's USB Port Cable, just a pain to do so. That's why it get's only 3 star's. 5, if it worked like the cheap one. Brilliant Quality Pic's tho. can't fault that!
