Having already tried a couple of these FM transmitters and been disappointed by the background noise (especially when listening to audio books) and clunky operation, I was loathed to get another one, but I bought this on the strength of the other reviews. I am very very pleased with the product! Crystal clear transmission, long battery life, easy operation and a really quick delivery. Highly recommended.

First of all, about the Gizmo company: I ordered my USB Freeview tuner on Wednesday and received it on Friday! You can't get better than that, can you?

The product itself, first I installed it on my Vista computer at work to try out. The installation worked fine from the first attempt, no problems there. I plugged the little aerial into the the USB dongle and left it hanging outside the window for a better signal. Yes, it did get about 10 Freeview channels but that was exactly what I expected.

I took the device home and installed it on my Windows XP home computer, I plugged the main aerial to the dongle using the supplied connecting cable and I got everything I get on my normal freeview box, excellent image quality and the software worked well. I did record about 30 minutes off one of the channels and the quality was very good. I didn't say brilliant but very good. I suspect the quality of the recording depends to a certain extent on the quality of your graphics card and mine is nothing special.

Just like any Freeview receiver, whether is top-box or USB or whatever, the quality of signal is essential.

If you feed this cute Lupo Freeview USB adapter decent signal, then the results are indeed fabulous for the price you pay!

i can't compare it to any other similar products and won't be able to do it in the near future either because I have only this product and I am very happy with it.

It's odd to rave about a plug but this charges my new iPod Touch perfectly. You do not need to buy an overpriced apple charger and many of the competitors charge at least 3 times more. Add to this prompt delivery from the seller and you have a natural winner.

I received this product within a couple of days and it works perfectly. Little bit of interference in town but that was expected as a friend of mine has one as well. Went down to the coast last weekend and it blasted out music all the way and pretty good quality. Much better than I expected for the price. Buy one!

There is no need to pay a fortune for HDMI cables, they either work perfectly or don't work at all. I have two of these cables and both are perfect. They connect Freesat and a DVD player to my 50inch Plasma TV and the picture in HD is amazing.
