A mouthful of cold tea is not something to joke about. It can cause unnecessary expletives and spitting - two things that we do not recommended in an office environment. We are proud to introduce the Stainless Steel Mug and USB Mug Warmer. Plug the USB Mug Warmer into your computer's USB port, make your beverage using a standard kettle, pour it into the accompanying Stainless Steel Mug, and place the finished drink on your Mug Warmer. Your drink will stay deliciously warm for 30-60 minutes longer than normal. So you may take part in a fire drill or unexpected meeting without feeling too disgruntled.
Of little use, 2007-02-15 It would be well to add to the specifications that the heater is rated at only 2.5 W. The specific heat of water is about 4.18 J/g/degC at room temperature. Thus to warm 100 ml of water from 20 degC to 50 degC would take three and a half hours - even in the absence of any losses. Basically, it will just about take the chill of it.
Note also that the vacuum cup supplied is also insulated on its base! It thus serves no function other than to keep the hotplate warm.

Its a nice idea but..., 2007-03-03 The hotplate only gets hot at the centre. If you look at the bottom of any mug only the edge of the mug is in contact with the table/desk/worksurface. If you've got a small flat bottomed cup, this item may work fine. For most - it's not that effective.

Very good for 1p !, 2008-02-15 I got this one as a spare along with a sony one.. which still hasn't arrived yet and i wasn't expecting it to be brilliant. when i put it in a casette player it gives you excellent sound quality for the prive (you loose a little bass but not much)
the only issue i had was that it made an annoying rattling noise which is easy to fix, take it apary and remove all the cogs inside - they aern't atttatched to anything and it works fine without them seeing is it's just a casette shaped bok with a chip and a wire coming out of it.
Great value for money
