Best PC speakers, 2008-08-18
Had these for over a year. With the bass control set around a quarter to and the treble set around 12 o'clock and a small piece of Blu-tack over the very bright power light these speakers are superb! They are much better than any other PC speakers I have heard.
Several friends have bought sets after hearing them and no-one has been disappointed.

Good Points:-

Very good battery life,

Simple, user friendly interface,

It is compatible with almost all players, i use windows media player,

Sync upon connection is optionable, i personally have lots of music, and like manually selecting my music,

Video converter is amazing, it converts most formats, and deletes the converted file from your computer when you have installed it to you player,

SD car expansion is brilliant, because it means i can put all my audio-books on an SD and it won't blend with my library,

the screen is a brilliant size for watching videos,

Bad Points:-

will scratch easilly if you do not have a case,

I have found that sometimes when i unlock, the screen is completely white and this can only be fixed by either locking again, waiting until the screen goes blank and then quickly unlocking it again, or by turning it off and back on again, also the screen will put itself to 100% brightness, but the same solution works,

Unless you have a laptop (which i luckily do) then the sync cable is too short, but this is the most common cable available,

sometimes when I'm on all tracks i can't scroll up any further than the middle of 'F',

No games :(

this is by far the best player i have ever had, the 32GB memory is enough for anyone, the delete function, is simple and works as you would expect, searching for things comes up with a qwerty keyboard to type in keywords, headphones are excellent, they only point i can think that is bad with it other than the faults with blank screens etc. (which i will overlook as the player is so brilliant) is that there are no games, and that doesn't even matter.

Creative Labs EP-630/A Earphones

I got these earphones because the ones that came with my Creative MP3 player fell to bits after 2 years fairly light use. However, I wish I'd replaced them much earlier because the sound quality with these is soooo much better. before on my walk to and from work the traffic noise often obscured what I was listening to - but not any more and now I'm able to listen at lower volume. They provide a natural, well-balanced sound that works well with all kinds of music, they are comfortable and don't slip out of your ear. What more can you ask for from earphones?

a very compact, sleek player ...quality of music is equal to that of an ipod....I was planning to spend on i-pod shuffle...but I saw this product in a store and this is really a fantastic one....happy to buy this one.. :)

I bought this when i first got my creative zen for my holidays in may, and its worked a treat. the Zen is very smooth and slidey so this keeps a good hold of it, and ensures the screen won't get scratched with the cover. Love the magnet on the flip of the cover to keep it closed.

Also the texture of leather is nice, feels and looks good quality!

A great buy. not one scratch on my ZEN!

What no case, the case is how much and still no good., 2008-09-10
My 8GB ZEN works fine, the software for loading the music etc could be better, the Sandisk 8GB card I purchased, works fine and is easy to load with music if you remove it from the player and load it directly from your computer. The Radio works fine, a few to many pre sets but ok.

The Big Problem with this player is how easy it marks, do not think about using it without buying a case.

I purchase a clear plastic case for £12.31 inc postage, the case marks just as easy as the zen player, remove the ring when its in your pocket, it rubs on the case. After a little use you may need glasses to try and read the screen through the case, its expensive for what it is, should have been included with the Zen.

With a better included case or a mark resitant screen I would give it five stars.

Brilliant value for money, 2008-08-18
Considering this headset is below £30, and considering the quality of other headsets around that price range, this is a truly fantastic piece of kit. It arrives in a neat box and I went straight ahead and plugged it into my PC and gave it a go. I previously used a cheap headset from GAME which began to get on my nerves as it just felt like a vice was on my head after a few hours of use. I put on some music to test it out and the difference in sound quality was immense, it was so much better!

After using the headset for over a month now I also can say I haven't experienced a drop in quality at all. I can wear this thing for hours on end and its only after about 7 or 8 hours of constant use that it starts to hurt my ears a bit, the velvet padding on both the earpieces and the top of the set to rest against your head really does make a difference in luxury. And don't worry if you, like me, hate the feel of velvet when rubbed the wrong way, because the velvet on this product is not quite the same, it always feels smooth. Another nifty thing is with the detachable mic. It comes in very handy if you're eating at the PC and don't want to get food all over your mic, just take it out and put it right in front of you, then plug it back in when you're finished and you're ready to talk again straight away.

My friends from Ventrilo claim they can hear me very clearly when talking, though apparently the mic was a little bit quiet when I hadn't turned the volume up on it or anything, but that's easily fixed in either Windows or Ventrilo/Teamspeak.

So overall, a fantastic investment for under £30, you won't look back when you buy this thing. Well done Creative!

Oh, and one last thing. When you get the headset and you're all excited its arrived, DON'T plug the microphone into the headset until you've got the headset all started up on the PC, otherwise it won't recognise the mic is plugged in until you take it out and plug it back in (caused hours of confusion for me, just a heads up for you guys).

The Layout is good.
Everything is ok...

but can't read .wmv file as a video.
wot a shame.

do not really need the wi-fi to access the internet for downloading music which only provide in 16GB & 32GB ZEN. NOT necessary!

go for the 8GB ;)
