Just started using this little device on a laptop. Excellent piece of kit and far easier to use than the built in touchpad pointing device. Just plug it into a usb port and away you go.
As has been already mentioned the cable spooling facility is great and saves the tangle that inevitably happens when storing away in a laptop bag.
Smaller than a "conventional" mouse therefore takes a bit of getting used to, again mentioned in another review begins to cramp the fingers after prolonged use.
Recommended.

Does the job well but it's been countless times now I've hit the stupidly placed on / off switch with my foot shutting down anything that's plugged in and losing changes on the computer.
A redesign is called for with the switch in a less prominent position.

I bought this out of frustration of trying to find a laptop stand that you could actually perch on your lap! Not one of the ones where you'd attach it to a desk.

I was thinking of giving up when I came across one of these. It's really quite cool and comes in a nice chocolate colour which is quite modern and blends nicely with the laptop colours.

One suprise was that it is like a solid foam style rather than a squishy style which at first I thought was a negative but it is actually quite a positive. It makes the laptop eye level and when typing it means your hands are level and wrists supported by the laptop so reduces risk of RSI.

Absorbs heat well and I have not had that uncomfortable heat dispersing itself in to my leg. It's very light and has a grippy material to hold your laptop and has an area where you can store accessories but I personally do not have a need for such a thing.

It supports a 15.4 inch laptop perfectly and there's no over-hang or anything like that. You can reverse for a 17 inch laptop and it works just the same, supports in the same way etc.

Great piece of kit for the money. Definitely handy for the people who want to use a laptop around the house but don't necessarily want to be hunched over a desk or coffee table but also do not want their laptop raising their core body temperature! (I am typing this review from the comfort of my bed)

So in my personal opinion a great buy.

Hi Quality Cable, 2006-04-05
The Belkin Cable is a very high quality Firewire cable.

The price on Amazon including delivery is a third of that compared to major high street names.

I called PCWorld to check their price. When I was told £21 for exactly the same vendor and length of cable by some Indian call centre, I simply pushed the order button on Amazon.

I will continue to buy stuff like this off Amazon now as certain chain stores' mark-up would be laughable if it werent true.

I bought this case recently and have found it extremely useful. I read the other reviews here complaining that the case was too big for their 15.4" laptops but this is because this case is designed for 15.4" WIDESCREEN laptops. So perfect fit, plenty of protection and it looks good- I'm happy!

Don't know what some of these other reviewers are on about complaining about this. This skin actually enhances the iPods attractiveness I think, with its silky finish. Knowing that my purchase is totally encased and protected makes it an added bonus that it still looks good.

Ok, the screen protector does need trimming with scissors by about 1mm each edge in order to fit without any air bubbles, but apart from that I see no problem. Click wheel works fine for me and my iTrip fits into the docking port without any problems. Only one drawback I can find is that it doesn't fit into my docking cradle with the skin on - but I use this cradle only when I'm hooking my iPod into my hifi, which isn't often. Most times I sit it on top of the speaker unit in the kitchen and it fits on there ok as this was designed for all iPods so has plenty of slack space all around the dock connecotor.

Bottom Line? Nice item, good price, happy I bought it. If/when I agree to buy an iPod for my wife's birthday I will put one of these skins into the basket at the same time.

A well made, classy looking case that provides good protection without adding too much bulk. The elasticated pull tab provides easy access and snaps back into place once used.
