This is not the Apple product. If you are looking for a connector that is not Apple branded take one of the many connectors which are not ridiculously overpriced for how badly they are engineered.

Superb value for money.

As far as I'm aware, this should retail for £60-80. I bought mine for £29.99 from a marketplace seller, and for that, it's incredible value for money. I think it's cheaper because Apple no longer stock it on their UK store.

Bought this with some trepidation with only 2 reviews 1 negative, 1 positive.
Fear not it is a super bit of kit works perfectly, price very reasonable and very quick delivery,what more should/could I want?

I have not hand any problems with this super drive and I find it does exactly what it needs to do. As long as you look after it you won't have any problems with the cable either.

My battery has lasted 15 months light use (only 76 cycles). Apparently, if looked after, these batteries should last for over 300 cycles (full charges). Type "Macbook battery" into your search engine and marvel at the issues and problems that customers have had. It looks like I've signed up to an annual running cost of around £100 for my MacBook. If I'd known, I wouldn't have bought it. Needless to say, Apple support have not been supportive, but that's another story.
