US to UK Plug Travel Adaptor

I bought 4-off of the US to UK adaptors from KK Electronics. These are quality items, and came packaged as per the item pictured. Ordered on Thursday and they arrived 2 days later. Very happy with item and service. WRT the comment on shipping costs - these items don't cost 1p, but Amazon restricts third party sellers on the shipping costs they can charge, so the sellers reduce the item cost to a minimal amount such that the total cost is representative of the actual cost of the shipped item. More often than not (but not in this case) they are competing with Amazon itself, as you can't get the free super saver shipping with third party sellers.

After searching the net to get a good price as i found it to be too expensive from PC World etc etc. Then i came across PC World PRICE PROMISE. Not only do/did they match the price on here they also give you 10% discount.

As for the unit itself, I'm Like others who also used to have the cheap ones from eBay, which are no where as near as good as the Belkin.
I live in Swansea but with my job I'm always up and down the M4 and no problems at all using this or the reception.

If your looking for either a new car stereo with line-out or USB connection, why bother when you can get this great smart looking unit.

I bought this for my son's 11th birthday and am really impressed with the quality. It feels quite solid and the sound is really excellent. My dad (who has a bose and an onkyo ipod system) was also very impressed and when I asked him how much he thought it had cost, he guessed around £100. The remote control is good (if difficult to see in the dark!) and overall I reckon it's worth 5 stars - it's certainly great value for money!

2G Ipod Touch, 2008-09-28
After having spent what seemed like an eternity trying to decide what MP3 player to purchase, I finally succumbed to the Apple marketing campaign.

My 2g Apple Ipod Touch arrived four days ago. The box it came in was a slight disappointment considering how much these things cost. I once got a hard drive enclosure with a more luxurious box than this Ipod!

That said I really haven't been disappointed by the device itself. The interface on the device is responsive and really doesn't need a manual. It is a case of press that and see what it does.

The 2g Touch is now fitted with a rocker switch on the side that is an alternative control for the volume. It does exactly what it sets out to do, nothing more, nothing less.

There is also the addition of an internal speaker. I suspect that it's one of those solid state speakers, since the sound that it outputs isn't very loud and seems to just come out of any hole in the device. I think its been added so that you can hear things whilst playing games without the headphones plugged in. It will not replace a set of external speakers.

Everything else is the same as the countess reviews of the 1g device, so I'm not going to go over the same ground.

My only criticism (other than the box) is the fact that leads and headphones really do seem to be at the cheap end of the spectrum, which is a shame - the headphones really could do with upgrading. I was also rather astonished at how flimsy the connector port on these things are - too much pressure one way or another would cause some horrible damage, one would think that Apple would make this part of the unit far more robust.

So overall I would give this a four out of five (1 point off for the cheapness of the peripherals).

The Apple Ipod Classic is pretty darned good ..., 2008-07-02
The first thing I did after I finally got a home computer two years ago, was to read up on all the ipods available. It didn't take me long to decide on the iPod Classic from Apple and then the wait began for it's release in Australia.
Unlike others on here, I can't compare the Classic 80gb with any other ipod as this is my first, but I can say that three and a half thousand songs later (and still climbing) I can thoroughly recommend it anyone.
Many albums from my own collection have been included, plus many purchased direct from iTunes, as their sound is better than the older CD'sand you get an album cover displayed on the ipod screen.
You can of course buy songs individually if you have a mind to, although I am an album kinda girl,myself.
Scrolling through albums is a pain, as it can take quite a while if you have numbers in the thousands to get through. And the whinge is the Compilations section of the ipod is annoying in the extremus, because an album you record and send to your iPod disappears, it's not with that artists other albums. Where is it ? It's listed separately in the Compilations section because said artist has recorded songs with other named artists and it gets listed away from that artists albums.
Once you realise what is happening, it's easy to delate all other names from the album BEFORE including it to your ipod library where it will now take its place where you thought it would naturally go !
The other purchases made since my ipod have been a Belkin leather cover to stop the surface from scratching ($AUD35.00) and a box of earplugs from Apple ($AUD50.00) because I prefer the inner ear plugs to ones provided.
Then I bought a separate dock a Klipsch iGroove for just over AUD$240.00 and all is right with the world and me. Thoroughly Recommend.

I bought this when i first got my creative zen for my holidays in may, and its worked a treat. the Zen is very smooth and slidey so this keeps a good hold of it, and ensures the screen won't get scratched with the cover. Love the magnet on the flip of the cover to keep it closed.

Also the texture of leather is nice, feels and looks good quality!

A great buy. not one scratch on my ZEN!

This is a fantastic device, and great with the 1.4 software as shipped, but bear in mind, that access to the App Store and Exchange email will require the 2.0 update at additional cost - it's not shipped with the device.

I have been using this product with a IPhone 3G in a Honda Civic in the Belfast area.

The unit looks smart, appears to be sturdy and the functionality is relatively easy to pick up. The auto scan is very quick, and the resulting radio reception is very good indeed. I did not have to tinker with this in any way as mentioned by a previous reviewer. However I have no way of telling if this is limited to the area in which I am using it.

When I first plugged it into my IPhone 3G, the IPhone told me that this device was not designed for the IPhone and asked me if I wanted to switch to aeroplane mode. I said No, and the device has worked perfectly ever since. I havent got promted with the message again.

My only minor complaint (as mentioned by previous reviewers) is that it seems to forget its frequency every time the car engine is switched off. This only takes about 10 seconds to rectify, but is annoying nonetheless.
