What a great product, 2008-09-11 I have had these speakers since May and they are still working perfectly. The sound quality is very good for the price, however if you want something which is very loud and doesn't distort at full volume then you will be paying far more than you are for these.
All in all a very good speaker set and would definitely recommend. Sound quality is good and very clear, more than loud enough to fill a small room.

Apple Just keep improving it. Even when you thought there was no room., 2008-09-03 When I first saw this product up close I thought it would be too small. And it is small. Incredibly small. But when you turn it on you realise that everything still works brilliantly. The screen is still bright but not garish. I can easily watch a movie in clear quality without blurryness, pixelation or even bad light contrasts. I don't know how apple do it but they manage to squeeze such a fantastic product into dimensions that can comfortably fit into my top shirt pocket.
The wheel is easy to use and doesn't go too fast or too slow when you try and scroll. The scroll even has a great handling ability and unlike previous nanos, I can easily scroll and then stop exactly on the thing I was planning to stop on. The only fault I can find (and this is trying hard) is that the maximum memory is 8gb so I can't fit all the songs on my itunes so I have to go back and delete some awful album extras whenever i want to put a new single or album on. But this doesn't take long and should be done anyway.
So in conclusion I think that.......the ipod touch is better. I beats the nano by a little in everything good about it. Plus it's touch screen and has a bigger screen so better for movies (which I use it for). But if you aren't a gaget person and just want to listen to music and maybe the odd movie or you don't want to spend as much, buy a New Nano. Unoless you want lots of memory in which case buy a classic.
I guess what I'm really trying to say is; buy an ipod!

GEAR4
- Crystal Clear Hard Plastic Case
- Full Access To All Ports
- Clip Shut Design
Cool As Ice!, 2008-09-19 Having just bought the new iPod Nano (4th Gen), I desperately wanted a case to stop it getting scratched.
I chose this case over a coloured fabric/leather case because what's the point in getting a fab coloured iPod if you're going to hide it away?!
The case comes in two parts and snaps shut around your iPod. It fits snuggly but not so tight it would be hard to remove.
It has a space at the top for access to the Hold Switch and the bottom is open for access to the Dock Connector and the Headphone Port. There is also full acess to the Click Wheel.
The case is made from crystal clear plastic, which, as the product name suggests, looks like ice. The plastic is thick and sturdy - similar in fact to the plastic packaging case the iPod is sold in.
The only negative thing about this case is the price - £14.99 for a piece of plastic?! OK, it's a very stylish piece of plastic, but a piece of plastic none the less!
I feel the maximum price for this should be around £7 max but £4.99 would seem more reasonable.
The case also comes with a lanyard, but does anyone actually use those things?! Personally I won't be using that!

Best headphones I've owned, 2008-09-11 Sennheisers quality cannot be denied, it's as simple as that.
After buying my ipod, i bought a set of 'sennheisers' on an auction site at a ridiculously low price, and to this day i reckon they were fakes. They were tinny and fell apart after a month. When i went on to purchase these on Amazon, i had a nagging at the back of my mind on my previous purchase. i had owned other sennheisers previous and decided to plump for the CX500 Earphone.
What a good decision that was!
These are the best headphones i have owned. I am back to the in ear phones as they tend to block out external noise far better that even the expensive noise reduction ones on the market I have tried. The bass is great for the money, and they come with several sizes of ear plugs to allow convenience for all ear sizes(?!) they really are comfortable and look the part too with my black ipod.
would highly recommend these, you wont find a better set of phones for this price!

Creative
- 8GB flash memory capacity
- 2.5in screen size
- Supports audio: MP3, WMA, WAV, AAC and Audible
- Supports video: WMV, DivX and Xvid
- FM Tuner
What no case, the case is how much and still no good., 2008-09-10 My 8GB ZEN works fine, the software for loading the music etc could be better, the Sandisk 8GB card I purchased, works fine and is easy to load with music if you remove it from the player and load it directly from your computer. The Radio works fine, a few to many pre sets but ok.
The Big Problem with this player is how easy it marks, do not think about using it without buying a case.
I purchase a clear plastic case for £12.31 inc postage, the case marks just as easy as the zen player, remove the ring when its in your pocket, it rubs on the case. After a little use you may need glasses to try and read the screen through the case, its expensive for what it is, should have been included with the Zen.
With a better included case or a mark resitant screen I would give it five stars.

Klipsch
First Class, 2008-09-14 I had heard the Bose unit before on a number of occasions and was never particularly impressed by it so have been searching about for something different for my ipod. I settled on the Klipsch because of the strength of the reviews despite one or two negative ones. The first time I heard the iGroove was when plugged it in at my house and I was not disappointed. It has a very smooth, neutral and balanced sound with no emphasis on any part of the music. There is plently of low end available but this varies dependent on placement - it is worth moving around to find your preferred position. In summary, a great little piece of kit at an amazing price.

Apple
- 8GB flash drive
- Holds up to 2,000 songs in 128-Kbps AAC format
- Holds up to 7,000 iPod-viewable photos
- Holds up to 8 hours of video
- 2-inch (diagonal) liquid crystal display with blue-white LED backlight
- 320-by-240-pixel resolution at 204 pixels per inch
On the plus side..., 2008-09-16 It's a real shame Apple have let themselves and their customers down with the accessories issue (90% of pre-June 2008 accessories, particularly chargers don't work with new Touch and Nano models).
Still, as an item of design and functionality there can be no debate that Apple have created the best iPod Nano yet. Everything works smoother than on the previous model and the larger screen really does make a difference.
It's also a lot lighter than it's predecessor and includes a marginally longer battery life. Bear in mind however that only a USB charger is included, not a power lead... read paragraph one again if you're not sure how much of an issue this is (it's another £30 for an official dock).
BUT like I say this is a lovely piece of kit that especially rewards those with a well kept iTunes library with coverflow once again looking fantastic.

A really nice ipod, 2008-09-18 Pleased with the quick delivery time and that it was well packaged.
Looked at lots of iPods before deciding to buy this one and am not disappointed.
Having read the reviews beforehand on seeing that it is likely to get scratched, have bought a nice case to go with it. I have bought the i-nique Tuff-Luv Exec soft napa leather case which looks just great.
Would agree with most people that it is nicer to invest in a better pair of earphones as the ones that come with it aren't great and are just the basic type. I have bought the Creative Labs EP-630/A earphones which are really good.
I would also agree with other people that you also need a charger to go with the ipod which is ideal for charging when away from home. I bought the iPod classic mains charger to go with mine.
Would highly recommend this product as great value for money. I bought from Amazon as they gave me the best price compared to everyone else.
