This Mp3 player is great. I was surprised when I received it as I didn't expect it to be so small, but that just made me love it more.
It is exactly the same as the picture shows, and is the exact same size.
The sound quality is great, even the headphones supplied are good.
It is really simple to use.
The screen is easy to see and the buttons are easy to use.
You can just plug it in and start using it straight away, and there is a user manual for if anyone needs help.
I would defiantly recommend this Mp3 for anyone.

The sound quality isn't great with these headphones (e.g. the sound quality on the headphones provided with my iPod Touch is far better), and the microphone sounds a little muffled. Also one of the earpieces rattles slightly. Having said all that, I've not heard many complimentary reviews about the original Apple iPhone headset which is retailing at around £19 (I paid £7.99 for these inc P&P), so actually I think these represent good value. I only use them for VOIP calls via Fring and for fun applications like Midomi, and they are fine for that.

If you want good quality, you should probably opt for the premium in-ear headphones and mic set, but you will pay 5-6 times what I paid for these.

Does exactly what it says! The remote is good - those of us with big fingers might struggle initially with the feel but it soon comes. I cycle to work and listen to the radio on my way in. No interference from my mobile in my bag and no issue with the station. The reception is not 100% crisp and true, but it more than suffices. Good bit of kit!

They just keep getting better!!, 2008-11-07
The Archos 5 is just so much improved it's hard to fine any fault at all. All Archos products are wonderful but this time they have outdone themselves. A Superb entertainment machine and the screen is so good I watch full movies rather than sit in fron of the TV, As Archos always have said "think snmaller". Just wonderful.

Got the white version along with the black for Christmas presents on a special offer with amazon for my daughters, and I've got to say how glad I was that they were really impressed with the sound quality and ease of use which is great when you want to use it right away and not get bamboozled with complicated instructions. After getting my system set up with my Panasonic Viera 32" Full HD LCD and my PS3, i was blown away and to put the icing on the cake the ipod dock is so cool i have my Ipod touch slotted in and its fully remote controlable, also if you have a panasonic tv with viera link its cool. all things considered Price, Quality & variety of technology its top class 10/10. would reccommend to any1 who doesn't want to speed any more than 250 to 300 on a sound system.

For the price, this is excellent value. Easy to use, portable and apeing the clean iPod design, this is perfect if you're not looking for anything special sound-wise. It is powered by 4 AAA batteries or via mains; I've found it useful in the kitchen and when travelling. At the price of a few pounds, it's at least worth a try.
